I gave it a one star because 0 is not available. The owner is not a nice guy at all, very rude. My car caught fire there so I used the fire extinguisher to put it out. The guy was very mad that I did that. He gave no car about me or my car and only cared about me replacing the fire extinguisher. He got aggressive and started swearing at me and calling names. He even threw out a racial slur. He then proceeded to call the cops and said I damaged his property. The cops were very nice and understanding of my situation. Once they left he came out and aggressively yelling at me. Said I was not allowed to come back and be a customer. Not to mention the store stinks and there was uncovered containers of food all over the place. I highly recommend not going here. Disgusting

Theyre either watering down their windshield washer fluid at the pumps, or havent switched to winter washer fluid. Either way. Its been cold for long enough, that that shouldnt be a frozen block of ice

What’s with the attendant at this shell!!! Twice now I’ve been told that the washroom is only for customers….he needs to watch and see us filling up our car instead of just bothering everyone that comes in! I see I’m not the only one having this experience based on the other reviews 🙁. Both times my husband was filling up while I went inside and was hassled.

I have never had such a terrible experience at a gas station in my life. The cashier at this Shell location was extremely rude, mean-spirited, and completely unprofessional. What made it worse was the clear discrimination against disabled people which is absolutely unacceptable. No customer should ever be treated with such disrespect, let alone those who already face challenges in their daily lives.
Instead of offering even basic courtesy, the cashier acted as if helping was a burden and made inappropriate, offensive comments. This kind of behavior is disgraceful and reflects very poorly on Shell as a company.
If you care about being treated like a human being, I strongly recommend avoiding this location. Shell should seriously reconsider who they hire to represent their brand because no one deserves the treatment I witnessed here.

Went in today with my disabled mother who uses a mobility scooter, we quickly realized the store was pretty small so we stopped her in the middle and I was going to pick up her snacks so we could get some snacks and some gas for our car. The man behind the counter kept saying how we don’t have a car, the place is too small whatever. I told him multiple times it’s fine, I’m just picking out some snacks for us and we’re getting gas, my mom barely tapped an empty wire shelf with her scooter and the guy started yelling “ahhhh” at her, so she stopped and I guided her out backwards. Where she again just touches the door frame where the guy yelled really loudly at us once again and said don’t come back without a car. I told him straight up, and pointed at our very obvious car sitting at the gas pump and said I’ll never be back you are so rude, stop yelling at your poor customers who don’t know any better. Went across the street to esso instead.

Had to file a complaint to bylaw. I was working in the area and had to use the bathroom but got turned down. I will be emailing Shell next. BOYCOTT.

The guy here made racist comments
Didn’t allow to use the washroom I was here to fill up the gas, have some snacks but he wasn’t looking in good mood to serve.
He’s inappropriate racist comment was buy something and then use the restroom.
This happened on August 4, 2025 at 3:15 p.m.
The guy didn’t have name badge on his shirt and when I asked him his name to put it on google review he started asking me to show ID as if he’s police or I’m buying alcohol or cigarettes.
Guy like him should get fired, business is losing customers and customers losing their minds.

dropped by today and didnt fuel up, their 91 was marked up so much its ridiculous, i get 93 at other shell locations for 160 ish, this location only offers up to 91 and was charging 185. price gouging owners

Employee told my wife that the bathroom was only for customers. When she said, “My husband will be right inside.” He said, “Then the bathroom is only for him.”
So we drove across the street and bought 40 litres of gas and $40 worth of snacks and drinks. Do not give these people your money.

If I could rate zero, I would! I tapped my card, it gave me the noise notifying me that it worked, and the pump let me fill up the gas up to $77, but the receipt wouldn’t print (I didn’t think much of this, sometimes the machine doesn’t work properly). I got in my car and started it, and the owner came running out saying “you didn’t pay!”. So I got out of the car and explained that the card worked and showed him that the gas filled up to $77, and he started screaming at me (and I mean truly screaming!). His English is very poor, so it was hard to understand what he was trying to say, I was trying to have a rational conversation, but he just continued yelling and carrying on and demanded that I go into the store to pay again! I said okay calm down I’ll pay again, but I need to go back to my car (which I left on) so I could turn it off, and he started writing down my licence plate and threatening to call the police and arrest me. I said okay, I’ll leave the car on and come inside and pay. Someone could have stolen my car! Never in my life have a been spoken to in such an insulting and aggressive manner! There are two possibilities to his behaviour: 1. He is running a scam, and forces people to pay twice through threats and volatile behaviour or 2. His machine is broken, and the machine does not actually accept payments. Either case is not my fault! Moreover, the pump station is the filthiest thing I have ever seen in my life, covered in black sud! I don’t believe he ever cleaned it in his life. Truly bizarre experience, never came across a gas station like this in my life!
