The staff is so good and so friendly, they are so cooperative, I didnt have much money to pay for my ice cream, so they helped me to take the ice cream with me with less amount of charges. Now, I got there biweekly and they never charged extra for anything.
Nice and calm place to go and shop there.

Honestly, growing up in Cobourg as an Asian kid was hard for me. I found comfort in this place as the owners were Asian as well.

I ❤️ Young’s! The staff are so friendly and remember us when we come in. They have lovely flowers in the spring and its a great place to pick up snacks and basic groceries. Have never seen anything expired there. Would be awesome if one day there was also some fresh produce. Thanks for being a reliable friendly corner store!

Very kind people manage this store and they have gorgeous flowers in the Spring time. My family and I go here regularly and always are treated with respect.

The owners are nice people, the negative reviews are unwarranted. I frequent this store almost daily, have never experienced problems with the freshness of their products. The staff are pleasant and I always enjoy chatting with them.

Added more than 20$ worth of items that we DID NOT purchase making our total come to much more than expected. Double scanned some of our items, and added the cost of a pack of cigarettes that we did not buy. Was extremely reluctant to give the receipt, and when we finally got it we realized how much extra she charged us and went and got our money back. Makes me sick! Never come here, and beware of the women who's a cashier, she watched us questioning and being confused by the total and did not say a word. Acted like it was a mistake when we came back. They don't deserve your business.

Beware half the store is past expiry date & I've caught them double scanning items twice now. Will never shop here again.
