About The Gut Conservation Area
The Gut Conservation Area is a very out of the way but beautiful and serene natural area, featuring pretty waterfalls, a stream, and amazing rock formations. It offers nice hiking trails for a little hike, described as quite the workout with lots of steps, making it a great place for exercise. The reward for the effort is a set of scenic waterfalls that visitors are tempted to jump into. Access is challenging. The access road sign is easy to miss and the rough, bumpy uphill road is 800m of sketchiness, described as practically impossible in a sedan and barely big enough for an SUV. The road is the same way up and down. The parking lot at the top has space for only 5-7 cars. The trail itself is not exactly well marked. There is only one toilet up top near the parking, and it is in poor condition. The area is dog-friendly. Visitors advise wearing good hiking shoes with decent tread, being tick smart, and treading carefully. It is a truly beautiful and amazing place that is so worth the journey.

Some of the reviews describe the road as practically impossible in a sedan which made us walk farther than we needed to. It's not exactly well marked but it's a nice place to go for a little hike

Loved the waterfalls. So tempted to jump in.
Toilets: Only one up top near parking. Foor is hanging off. They need to put in a new washroom.
