The Old Hastings Mercantile is a true gem. A small house full of beautiful art, books, lamps, stained glass, jewlery, soaps, treats, peanut butter hot chocolate, tea and lavender. The shop has a cute eclectic style with a variety of old style crafts, soft drinks and sweets for the weary bicyclist. Every visit brings surprises; the rooms are warm with wood stoves, a crackle, a twinkle of Christmas decor and a nostalgic charm that make you feel like stepping into a simpler, more beautiful time. The owners are super friendly, welcoming and very loveliest. The place feel right at home and is definitely worth a stop. You will love the magical feel and would go back again.
