The Marine railway is amazing...like an old fashion rollercoaster in slow motion.Staff and facility display little attention to detail: washrooms needed attention and were totally in darkness after sunset. How do you put a door code in complete darkness?

I've never seen that. It's definitely worth seeing. You can stay here for a few hours and watch the boats cross the road. Great technology!

Friendly and very helpful staff. One stop shop when you’re up North. Really convenient, they offer water taxi, restaurant, gas, convenient store, boat launching. Bryan and Kelly are the most amazing people to work with.

Marina is old and tired. 2 tiolets for entire marina, resturant and ice cream shop. Staff left for night with no tiolet paper in washrooms and did not clean. Asked about showers and said the key would be available but No it was not. Do not stay here

Forget the marina… the ship lift alone is worth the visit! Another “must see” location on your visit.

Decent service, but food is expensive. We've been going for years and enjoy it every time.

Waiting a week for operators of lock 44 to show up to work...Great restaurant. Had an amazing breakfast. One selection fed two with leftovers.Marina is nice, gasoline, power on some slips, $75 pump out.. $50 if staying at the marina, no potable water. Marina is $2 per foot.Shower and toilet available. Small store and ice cream shop.Right next to lock 44

Cashier was standoffish when I paid the $17 to park for one night. Which is fine, some people are friendlier than others. So I proceeded to park my car and then as we were waiting for a friend to pick myself and 2 others up on the boat to head to the cottage, we took a seat at some of the muskoka chairs available. After a 3 hour drive, and with our coolers ready for the weekend we decided to enjoy a beer as we waited. Technically illegal, but we were not bothering anyone by doing so. Not long after that another staff member approached us, yelling and swearing at us telling us we could not do that. It is not the fact that they did not want us to drink on their property causing me to write this review. That I can understand, it is the way the situation was handled was completely unprofessional. A simple conversation with us would have yielded the same result.

Amazing place to enjoy a meal on the patio with friends and family alike. The staff are always thriving to assist and guide customers with any questions. The new improvements that have been made over the past five years with the new ownership have changed the dynamic of the place for the better!

Amazing spot to get out and walk around a little. What an interesting method of transportation, something I have never seen before.
