I had my wedding at the Coldwater Mill and it was amazing! A beautiful setting, we had a band play in the musical barn and had a big barbeque. It was so much fun, and I can't say enough good things about the volunteers who run the Mill. They were so helpful and responsive and everything went so smoothly!10/10 would recommend contacting the Mill to book an event.

A beautiful building showcasing an important piece of local history. Worth the visit and steps away from the unique downtown where there are many specialty shops to browse through. A great day trip!

Ok, I've got to admit a bias here... this is a mill that my great-great-great grandfather built early in the 1830's for the Chippewa Nation, Otter clan under Chief Aisance as part of their land settlement agreement with the Crown. The clan paid the government of the time a portion of the annually paid settlement fees the clan received as a result of the settlement to build the mill. The mill is nicely preserved and authentic - down to the uneven floors produced by almost two centuries of wear & tear from being a mill, post office, etc. It's worth the time to duck into Coldwater off of Hwy 400 to see this piece of history and the town of Coldwater. Besides the mill there are many shops on the main Street - clothing, antiques, Steampunk ( there's an annual festival), wool, and ice cream!

The artisan boutique is a wonderful feature of this historic mill. Take in the history and scenic beauty of this enchanting historical site... the local artisan boutique sales support the upkeep and protection of the Coldwater Mill?
