Mount St. Louis Moonstone is a large family-run ski resort north of Barrie, known for its terrific skiing and snowboarding close to Toronto. Reviews note it is an awesome place with reasonable lift tickets, but it can be very busy, causing long wait times for lifts in the morning. Some visitors feel safety could be improved, with beginners on difficult slopes. Excellent ski hill - terrific place to ski - family run so they care and look after their guests. Heated chairlift seats (on two lifts) are just one of the many perks to skiing here.

Nice ski and snowboard resort however it didn't feel like they are taking safety seriously enough with a lot of beginners going on difficult slopes.
PS: First time in 2026...looks better with afternoon being busier than morning.
