Amazing staff. The only complaint is the wait time picking up my kitten standing in line on one of the coldest days because i came too early but that's on me..lol

After much fuss I adopted a lovely dog from this shelter who has turned out to be amazing. But I experienced a lot of discrimination from the front desk lady (who was older in age and had long blonde sand hair) regarding my disability who kept saying I couldn't handle the dog making her out to sound horrible and a "bully bread" and would "pull you over". When in fact she is a sweet heart who is beautifully trained and walks amazing on the leash and is learning quickly in my home and doing well and flourishing. I probably fought for 10 mins ish to see my dog before she caved and let me speak to the behavioral adoption specialist who found us to be a great match! Not everyone would fight that hard to adopt an animal and I noticed on their fb page they don't have any adoptions out to people with disabilities. It makes me wonder if it's because everyone goes past this lady and she is so discriminatory she pushes us all away before ever giving us a chance. People with disabilities can house, take care and train animals just like able bodied people and should be treated the same when approaching you for adoption.

We adopted three cats. A barn cat and two kittens. The barn cat has decided life as a house car is way more preferable and the two kittens are enjoying their new home. Thank you for all you do.

I’m sure the animals are cool, but the staff need a huge ego check. Entitled, rude, disrespectful. Pathetic.

Disgustingly rude staff. I'd never set foot in there again

Very upset with the Georgian triangle today…Brought my kitten in to be neutered & when I picked him up he was covered in his own poop… head to tail! When I asked the lady (unsure of name) she has short grey hair and glasses, she said “oh yea that can happen and we didn’t see it and can’t take the animals out once they wake up” to me that just sounds neglectful! He just had surgery I can’t bathe him and his incision was covered with poop.. I see wiped him down but he is still smelly and now I can’t put his cone on him because he needs to clean himself off. I am beyond furious with this. This is a photo of his blanket he was in when I picked him up. My husband took the sweater he was wearing off of his back and I took out my kitten from the carrier and wrapped him in the sweater and held him the rest of the way home.

Great place to adopt a pet. It is always better to adopt. We adopted a 6 month old cat which we named Pluto.
