The owner of this Pet Valu location sells live pets to make a quick buck. The birds, fish and small rodents reside in small inclosures and lack enrichment. I now shop at Ren's Pets or the Pet Valu Stayner location who actually care about the welfare of animals and choose not to sell small animals to the public.

Pretty nice pet supply store with a very good amount of diversity. Employees were very courteous but there wasn't really anyone that offered their help in the store and rather stayed behind the counter. Anyways that was on the day we went so it might not always be the case. All in all it was a nice, clean and simple shopping experience where we found what we needed.

Very friendly staff. Packed up for a camping trip and forgot to put the dog food on the trailer. We were able to stop here & have the staff look into the computer system for our type/brand of dog food we normally buy.

The staff is knowledgeable, polite and professional. The store is always clean, organized and well stocked. We have always had a wonderful experience, found what we needed and were helped by friendly staff.

I recommend not getting your dog’s nails trimmed here. $16 to walk out of the store with your dog’s nails still clacking against the ground, and attitude when you ask for the groomer to try to take a bit more off.
