First off, it’s in a beautiful building but unfortunately, that’s where my good experience ends. After a day of shredding at blue mountain, I visited this location of Skiis and Biikes to check out the SMITH Squad Mag Low Bridge Fit as I’ve been looking to get a pair. I went to the goggle section at the back to check out the lens swap mechanism. As soon as I took the lens off the display and held it in my hand, a Caucasian male employee quickly approached me saying ‘you can’t touch the goggles. You have to leave them alone because you’re going to break them’. I explained to the employee that I want to demo the goggle lens and the fit in general. He then rudely said ‘I’m with a customer right now, I’ll show you after’ (he was just bringing some items to the cash for the previous customers). So I waited like he told me to in hopes that I’d be able to demo the goggles. Once he was back, he held the goggles in his hands and said ‘these are the goggles’. I explained to him that I was interested in seeing how easy it is to swap out the lens and test the fit before making the purchase. He then rudely replied ‘you can only see it, I can’t show you how to take off the lens. This flap swivels up and you change the lens’. So I asked one last time if he can demonstrate that for me, he said ‘no I’m not going to be showing you.’ At that point, I got fed up and decided to leave.I would like to believe that he was having a bad day and that he wasn’t being racist, but unfortunately, I believe he was just being racist towards me. The customers that he was helping with the goggles prior to ‘helping’ me were Caucasian and I noticed that the employee was being extremely helpful and nice to them, and I was the only person of colour in the entire store (other than my boyfriend). He was extremely rude towards me and even caught him shaking his head once he turned around. I don’t believe my request to demo the goggles was excessive, especially before spending $280+ on a new pair of goggles.I recommend any other people of colour (especially Asian) to reconsider shopping here and to bring your business elsewhere, or at least be aware of how you may be treated by some of the staff here.

Great selection, great prices, great service. Also, there is a room downstairs where you can tune your skiis.

This is second time I’ve been in the store and I cannot begin explain how pretentious they are. They are cold, snooty and think they know everything more than the customer. Not going back there again lol get off your high horse

service man was very rude. i felt like a burden to him. took all day to do a simple binding adjustment and cost me money for it. it’s free at most places. on top of that it was $30 very overpriced. would never recommend.

I ordered online an Obermeyer ski jacket on New Year's Eve day. I placed the order at noon. They closed early that day I expected a confirmation later that week. I received a confirmation before 3:00 the same day. I received notice on Thursday it would arrive that day. It came at 4:00 pm. That jacket is so great. Thank you for the coat and great service!

If you get your skis serviced here, they will sloppily apply a difficult-to-remove sticker to your equipment. Absolutely unprofessional practice. If I wanted a sticker, I would have asked for it. Don't defend this as "normal industry practice" because it pretty much amounts to non-consensual service. If it's not on the work order, don't perform it

Dropped off my new skiis & bindings today to be mounted. Was promised them back in 7 days and within the hour they were ready for pickup. It doesn't get any faster than that! Great service, very happy with the install and the reduced cost for returning customers. AA++

After doing lots of research after having a hip replacment done I decided I wanted to try the Specialized Roll 2 low entry bike and was not disappointed. Talked my husband into getting one too after he had picked a different Roll style. We dealt with Dave who was extremely helpful throughout the whole process and he quickly had our new bikes all accessorized and ready for pick up. We absolutely love our Roll 2 bikes and look forward to lots of riding adventures!

Not satisfied with the work done to my bicycle. Not even 200km since having my bike tuned up at this location and the front wheel literally fell off during a gentle ride around the block yesterday. When the wheel fell off a small part must have fallen off as well and I noticed today it is missing, if I want a new piece I will have to order it from the manufacturer in Poland. I noticed riding home after the tune-up the head tube seemed to be loose and the bike makes a noise when you pedal despite it being a brand new chain/cassette/chainring. Honestly at this point I feel like I have no choice but to bring my bike somewhere else to have it looked over by another mechanic so I don't get injured while riding which is annoying considering I just spent almost $1000 here. I hate to complain or leave a poor review but this has been my honest experience. Edit: The piece that fell off when my wheel fell off yesterday will cost me another $65 to replace.

I bought a new Devinci Altus 9 from here. Overall experience with the staff was fine. One person named Dave, I believe, was very, very helpful. Thanks again. The reason for the low rating is the issues I was having with the bike right from the get-go. My rear tire was not seated properly in the frame. It was about halfway out and tightened in that way. My handle bar was off centered, and the rear derailleur is so out of adjustment that it isn't shifting to the first gear and keeps jumping between gears, primarily between 8-9 gear while riding. I also can't put any "heavy load" while pedaling uphill without having the chain jump constantly... For a bike worth nearly 1k on sale (1099 regular), this is pretty unacceptable. I understand things can go out of adjustment after a week or two of use, but these issues came right from the store. It's unfortunate that I bought this bike out of town from where I live. If this is how bikes are being put together there, I would never bring something in for servicing.
