I had a great experience with the auto repair service at this location. With an emergency repair needed, they were quick to respond and act. In particular, I found Marc, up front, and the mechanic, whose name I wish I could remember, to be quite helpful and supportive. Highly recommended based on my experience.

I brought my car in yesterday for an urgent problem. They were accommodating, quick, and thorough. They also offered excellent front-of-house customer service. I am grateful to the mechanics, who managed to squeeze me in and fix the problem, and especially to Marc at the front desk for being so kind and taking his time to explain everything to me. I will definitely be recommending this dealership in the future.

Took my passat in for inspection due to some issues I was having and got the best service I can ask for very polite very informative and understanding cornwall vw went over and above for me. I have no complaints and even showed me some featured I wasn't aware of about my car! Awesome.. highly recommended to use cornwall Volkswagen.

Extremely Bad Experience1 star because I can not give Zero stars to Service Department$1,900.00 spent. Got home, ZERO percent fixed.. actually received it back in worse condition. 100% wasted time & money. Thanks***2024-01-17 Edit for VW reply:I originally went in and did not describe any analysis other than the raw symptoms. I only asked for diagnosis (not any repair). When the service manager called me to ask for the 2nd hr for diagnosis, he started listing other items wrong. I told him I know there are other things wrong with the car, I only want them to diagnose the ABS, not to tell me about everything else, I will only address those after the ABS issue is figured out. The service manager called me the 2nd time and said they'd like to replace the wheel bearing.. they think it might be one culprit. He quoted me $400. I explained that is alot of money for a "maybe the culpritt", but I reluctantly agreed, saying it needs to be figured out. *The Service Manager understood this as 'do anything necessary at all costs to fix the ABS.' I told the Service Manager i didnt need the car, they could take their time with it (especially since it was over the holidays).I was shocked to see an invoice for many more hours labor and hundreds more for parts without my consent (more than the car was worth). I explained this to VW. I asked VW to work with me on the $$ since I didn't authorize the extra work or parts. Also, the one part that was authorized was 50% more than was quote on the phone. VW challenged me on this saying they work off the customers' diagnosis (which wasn't given until the 2nd phone call, and very unusual for any reputable mechanic to take a client's diagnosis as their starting point) and said I authorized them to fix it AT ALL COSTS, which no one would ever say -especially to a dealership. Once the repair bill exceeds the trade in value of the car, that should definitely be questioned by the dealership. I asked them what was wrong with the new parts in the trunk that they couldn't use.. they said they didn't know they were there.. I said because no one called to authorize more parts. VW said they'd replace their new parts for the ones in the trunk at their expense. After which time I received the revised bill, including the time to replace the unauthorized parts. VW said they didn't know what parts went where, and they're probably not plugged in right, and the engine lights are all on. $1900 invoice.Upon returning home, ALL the original 3 codes remained & speed of 4th wheel sensor was still double. Therefore, the new vw premium priced wheel bearing and wire harness diagnosed & changed was for nothing (ie. Unnecessary & Wasted). And the interior was left disassembled.I'm not impressed with the one-way dialog and careless attitude of this VW dealership. We've bought 2 new SUVs there since 2017.. never again.

Do NOT deal with sales Brian the worst experience ever. Makes a Hughe deal about pick up date I wanted 1 day earlier. Couldn't do it was apparently to busy for 1 day early. I questioned if they were waiting on a part. No no it's just needs the cpo inspection 120 check.Next thing I know pick up is now the following Tuesday cause there's a part coming in on Monday so I assume I was right with the delay.So when I looked at the suv for a test drive , the rear heat control was pushed in. When I picked it up it was apparently fixed. The first day driving it the display broke. The reason being the headrest in the middle row have 2 big one and 1 smaller one. This should have beem caught but the small was switched with a big so when u fold down the middle row the middle seat with the big headrest in the wrong position hits the display and pushes it in.Second day of driving it was warm out so I turn on the AC to find out it's not working to find out they can't get it in til Nov 20 but its something that was checked off on the inspection. I also find the brake rotor edge very very chipped and rusted. So im off to a really really bad start and when I went into the dealer to tell them about the ac I was there for 15 mins with no help. I left and called instead. I think I'll be dealing with Taylor Creek vw instead. I used them with my old vw passat. Unforently they had no atlas for me to buy in my trim I wanted. So stay away from loser Brian sales and so far not great dealership. I would love to give minus 50 stars but can't.Update second day having it the AC is not working and weird knocking noise from left front brake.

Very bad customer service. The guy on phone had hard time understanding me and my needs regarding vehicle. He just simply hung up while consulting with his co-worker regarding questions I had for him over phone.

Always great service and great staff here! They are always willing to work with my schedule and have fit me in the same day for a flat tire repair (twice). Caroline is super knowledgeable with everything Volkswagen and it’s always a pleasure to deal with her when I go in!

The VW Cornwall Dealership is top notch, the best dealership I ever dealt with. I was in a very unfortunate situation and at a bad time when my car broke down. While most other dealerships were closed, the service team at VW Cornwall shined. I was very impressed by the professionalism of Caroline the owner. The service she gave me was stellar but most importantly, it was offered with a full understanding of my needs and with integrity. I am glad to see that there are still good human people on the planet. I will remember their service for ever as what they provided was way beyond expectations. My car is driving very well after their service – Great mechanic work delivered and very friendly! I highly recommend this dealership for their amazing customer care. You will be in good hands by doing business with Caroline and the team at VW Cornwall!

Wasn’t impressed with the service. Woman staff accused my husband of not fixing the card properly amd putting the wrong oil, he knows what he’s doing. Also the staff don’t communicate between one other, as well as one service woman was very pushy on buying parts kept pushing and pushing. Wont be returning to this dealer. Not happy with service.

Friendly receptionist, and Rod in parts. He was kind, helpful with options, ordered the part (which is cheaper than one of the Ottawa VW sites) and I did not have to pay up front for the part (like one of the Ottawa sites wanted). I will pay on pick up. Thanks Cornwall VW! You made my life easier. ?
