  I love driving to go shopping at the dollartree. I noticed the last time I was there that there are a few things that are 2$ but that's not bad. Especially since in Montreal dollar stores have things for 5 $ now.

  Veriety of products we drove from Montreal to get some halloween decorations and they have all the stuff ready and the entrance also the cashiers were polite and friendly

  Went to dollar tree to do some shopping for a party. Wanted some number balloons but didn’t notice until I got to cash that they had larger helium number balloons. We were half way or almost done the transaction when I noticed. When I asked about it the cashier Lynn. Could not believe I could change my mind. She was rude and made me feel so uncomfortable. I love dollar tree and want to continue going there, but I don’t feel comfortable now with how the transaction went. Then to make it worse Lynn and another cashier just made me feel terrible for changing my mind and kept apologizing to everyone in line. Saying they didn’t realize Lynn had to re scan everything. Now that wouldn’t had been bad if Lynn was nice. She just dropped her whole mood and embarrassed me. All while having a baby strapped to my chest and my in-laws with me. This was supposed to be a fun visit. We all left unhappy. Not sure if it was because my in laws are not white. Possibly. Please do better dollar tree. Retrain your staff to have empathy and not judge everyone for changing their mind. It was only 5 or so minutes for the whole transaction. And for those 5 minutes I felt so uncomfortable.
