One of my favorite clothing stores in Cornwall. Employees are always friendly and helpful, great atmosphere. A tad pricy sometimes but great clearance rack. 😋

Went shopping with my mum today, and Amanda went above and beyond to help me find the perfect jeans. She was so sweet and really took the time to understand what I was looking for. She was so sympathetic to the struggle of shopping for jeans, and how confusing sizing could be. I left the store with my new favourite jeans and a smile on my face.

Was in on Saturday to get jeans, I'm 6 foot and there are very few places that sell a long length Jean.There were multiple team members in the store (5), all serving the same customer and taking pictures of them selves in product... They were so caught up in what they were doing I was able to get jeans to try on, help my self to a change room, and wait at the cash while they chatted and had no intention of actually doing their job!When they did get around to cashing me out my jeans were on sale, I wasnt informed of this by anyone nor the cashier, but I knew the price was off its normally 70$ for 2 pairs of jeans and it was 40 so I asked why, then I was informed that they were on sale, so i told her to add a 3erd So I wouldn't have to inconvenience them for a while longer!This is the 4th time I have been in there and it's been like this! Ever since Emma left it's been a complete mess! It's time for management to make a change it is not welcoming in the store, there's no one to help you.... Maurices is the only reason to go to the Cornwall square to begin with! I think I'll go to Ottawa or Brockville or anywhere else until something changes! It's a 45 min drive to be treated like that!

This is absolutely my favorite store to shop for clothes. They have such a great selection of all different kinds of clothes, and they have a plus size section that's almost as big as the regular section. The staff is super helpful, and the store is very clean. They always have alot of sales going on. And they do the buy one get one for 50% off, sale alot. And you can get a Maurices credit card and save money every time you use it.

This local store will not honor discount prices that are clearly advertised both in the e-mail newsletter and on Maurice's website.The salesladies tell us that those prices don't apply at their store, they are only for participating stores, or that they only apply in the U.S., not here in Canada. The manager did correct a saleslady one time, and allowed for the discount to go through, but she is not there all the time.There seems to be a lack of understanding on how sales and marketing go hand in hand, and that there is a code of ethics to be followed.
