I purchased a few vehicles from Fitzgerald and they were ok until I referred a family member. We kept on getting the run around and the finance guy Vernon was apparently never there when we would show up, until the last time where we sat down with him for no more than 5 minutes. We were told by Vernon that he will work on our file and get back to us before the end of the week, but we never heard from him. So we call and were told they are working on it. Over the course of a month he never pulled my partners credit but call and said the bank wants $5000 down in order to finance her. Ok but how does this make sense when her credit was never hit. So we gave up and went somewhere else. This other dealership got us approved by one of the A++ banks within hours and on the road in 2 days even with poor credit.I wouldn't recommend Fitzgerald to anybody after this experience.

I have two cars from Fitzgerald. The first one I got almost 3 years ago and was an excellent experience, which made it a no brainer to go back to Fitzgerald when I needed another car. The experience I had, and my family members had, the second time around was so awful if I could give no stars I would.About a month after I got my new car I noticed that the brakes squealed, so I brought it in to my local dealership to get checked out and was told that the brakes had no lubrication and the brake pads were completely worn out. Since i hadn’t driven the car nearly enough to wear out the brakes I called Jason and set up an appointment with their mechanic. When I got back to Cornwall for the appointment, the mechanic took the car for a test drive and said that he heard no noise, and that he assumed the dealership was just trying to “con me.” I also mentioned that the heated seats didn’t work and that the reflective glass on the inside of the door was broken - which I had been told would be fixed for me. They took my car for a few hours, told me they’d call when it was ready and gave me a loaner.The loaner car was absolutely unsafe. It had the gas light on, every light on the dash on, the steering was stiff and in order to engage the brakes I had to slam the pedal down hard maybe a minute before a stop light/sign. At 30 weeks pregnant, I felt unsafe driving the car and texted Jason saying that (he never replied). A few hours went by and I hadn’t received a call about my car, so I phoned Jason and he said “it’s been ready for a while, can you be here in 10min so I can go over the findings with you.” I headed back to Fitzgerald from 2nd street area, and by the time I got there I was told Jason had “just left.” I was pretty annoyed at this point so I just grabbed my car and left.The brakes continued to make noise so I brought it to the dealership and had them fix it. The heated seats still don’t work and the reflective glass is still broken.The costumer service this time around was appalling. I would never recommend anyone get a car from fitzgerald - and I truly regret getting this car from them.
