Deep River Golf Club, established in 1951 and designed by Stanley Thompson, offers a unique 9-hole golfing experience that plays like an 18-hole course. The club features four sets of tees, large sloping greens, and wide fairways, making it accessible and enjoyable for golfers of all skill levels. The course is well-maintained, with water hazards coming into play on four holes. Accessibility is a highlight, as golfers can easily navigate the course by cart. While some guests noted difficulties in following the tee decks due to a lack of signage between holes, they still found the course to be in great shape and expressed a desire to return. In addition to golf, the club offers delicious dining options. Guests have enjoyed an incredible BBQ meal featuring tender pork ribs and flavorful chicken wings, complemented by perfectly seasoned sides. Although there were minor issues with overcooked fries in some meals, the overall dining experience received high praise. With well-kept fairways and greens, combined with a welcoming atmosphere and affordable pricing, Deep River Golf Club is a great destination for both golfing and dining, making it worth the drive for visitors.
