Jan's Valu-mart is a typical small town grocery store and the only major one in Deep River. It is a good local store with a large selection and variety for its size, offering just about everything needed. The friendly and helpful staff provide great service. The produce and meat department are good, with an inclusive 50% off section for produce. The aisles are a little tight and the store is small, but it remains a great place to shop with an overall great experience.

We've lost a majority of our products, the store is hard to shop in, items are pricey as heck.

Very nice .. very clean for being a very small store... polite staff well stocked and not pricing.. nice cashiers... would like to go back again to really see what the store offers...

Typical small town grocery store. Good selection for the size of it and friendly service. They could use a lotto terminal and a beer/ wine selection.
