I have been coming here for years. I always get Shereen to cut my hair. She does an excellent job! I just found out that she has worked at this salon for 20 years. I think she deserves something for her loyalty. Don't you? Also, I want to make a point you should put on your outside sign that First Coice is Canadian. These days people will be happy to see that.

It is not my type to leave bad reviews about a place mainly because i, myself know the impact of those type of reviews but i couldn’t stay silent at all.
I have come in to get a trim and a french bang : i’ve never had my hair cut so badly. I didn’t say anything because i do not like to cause a scene and i wanted to see how it would look like once i’ve styled it myself : it’s even worse than i thought. The bang is not even straight, there’s layers that shouldn’t even be there. I have really voluminous hair : the shorter they get the more they’re gonna be voluminous and now it literally looks like two layers of hair on top of another. Even an amateur following a youtube tutorial would have done better. At this point the $30 i’ve paid literally feel like stealing.
Honestly the worst hair dresser i’ve had and i’ve been in a lot of your hair salons across the city.

Mary is the best. She has cut my hair many times, and knows how I like it done. I have short hair with a cowlick at the top which I like to cover over. Perfect each time.

My husband has been getting his hair cut here for over a year. He always books an appointment online. The salon never is on time. They are always 10 - 20 minutes behind. Which is so annoying because all my husband is getting done is shaving his head.
