This is truly one of the nicest libraries I've ever been to. I also love that there's a ton of natural light. I don't often linger at the library beyond picking up books but this is a great place to spend a day or an afternoon.

The Waterdown branch of the Hamilton Public Library is a gem! The space is bright, spacious, and always clean—including the washrooms, which is a big plus. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful, and they offer some really great programs for all ages. I also appreciate the quiet study areas—they make it easy to focus when you need a peaceful environment. It's a very family friendly place, perfect place to take the little ones on a Saturday morning.
Overall, a fantastic community resource that’s clearly well taken care of.

Wonderful large library. Lots of events regularly. Very clean. Lots of spaces to enjoy a book. Children’s area is great, with lots of activities.

I love this place.
Everyone is so friendly and my kids always love coming here. I really wish they had more toddler programs with a facilitator.
It’s nice to get the kids out of the house and see other children from the community.

Well maintained, accessible facility with many diy stations , sewing, printing, meetings, quiet rooms for studying... lots of parking, seniors center... and Municiple Service Center.

Just signed up for a library card. I had a special print job I had to do. Believe me when I say I have no tech abilities whatsoever. Rocco was absolutely amazing. He was able to assist me with my print job and it came out better than I thought it could. Top notch customer service. Thank you so much!!Lisa Zakrajsek

Love that it has extended Sunday and study hours. I have a type of job where I use library resources and printing services on a regular basis. I am so grateful to have such a good library system .
