Quick in and out. As soon as I entered the store I asked the staff member where to find what I came to purchase. Surprisingly she told me the exact location which is pretty rare in the current retail environment. I went to the aisle, found the product, took it to the checkout and was out of the store in under 5 minutes.

Absolutely appalling service from this Rona location. FOR DAYS I have been bounced around from call centre to department at the store, to customer service, leaving messages that don't get returned for days, etc. and there is always some obstacle ('Oh, that person isn't in today and they're the only person who can help.' "Oh, we tried called you but there was an issue with the call." "Oh, we can't help you need to do that on email." "Oh, I can't help with website issues, I'll give you another number to call." I've been into the store twice since I bought it to try and get a response, again to be told, "Oh, we're not able to help you, best we can do is leave a note for someone else."Now my dishwasher is BEING DELIVERED FRIDAY (a week after purchase) BUT THEY WON'T EVEN CONTACT ME UNTIL MONDAY TO SET UP AN INSTALL DATE.I have never had so many problems with an appliance purchase before. Will not be buying through RONA again. They take a stack of money for an appliance and then have no sense of urgency to actually deliver the product. If only I could charge interest in the form of late fees for incomplete service, I'd make a fortune.

I just got great help from Lee C. In Plumbing. He helped me select the best toilet for my needs and budget and would definitely recommend him to my friends and family .

Went To Rona for paint the other day. Picked out a colour and a girl mixed it for me. Didn't show me but I trusted her. Little dab on lid seemed close.WRONG!!! Thought maybe it was the lighting but now that I have used it, it is so off.Won't go there again.

Worst customer service EVER - online AND in store. Spent over 3 hours of my time attempting to return a defective item with help (online) from someone unable to process a simple exchange or refund. Finally reordered a replacement item myself and was charged incorrectly and told the item was no longer available. Phoned this location to try to resolve and get a replacement order and customer service representative was rude and completely unhelpful. I guess I am stuck with one mismatched item and an incorrect charge.

If you are a minority stay away from Donna at checkout.... the racism is unreal.... the cashier was super friendly until Donna came and legit hovered over me and started looking for ways that I was attempting to steal ( the screw I was buying came with a nut) she took one from his hand and started scanning it on other registers triple checking that it did even though me and the original cashier told her it did and he didn't question it at all she just grabbed it and started double checking! I will never step foot in this store again! Behaviour like this is completely unacceptable and it's sad that Rona has someone this racist supervising the checkout!

This store would be out of business if it weren’t for its location and the fact that there’s little competition nearby.I’m in this store on a weekly basis and almost every time I go in they’re out of stock of a basic item that I need (deck screws, joist hangers, drywall mud, etc) so I end up going to Home Depot in Burlington. Their online inventory tracking is unreliable compared to what they actually have in store so at times I don’t even bother going to this store and go out of my way to drive to Burlington instead.Their shelving is often disorganized (especially the bolt/screw/washer aisle), the lumber yard hours seem to change from day to day but aren’t posted anywhere (I’ve asked), and the staff are hit or miss (although I think they’ve been hiring more staff). I give it two stars instead of one because they’ve been good at dealing with returns.I don’t know if this is a management issue but it’s been ongoing for at least two years and I hope it gets fixed.

We went to Rona to hopefully get a stove. There were two employees in the area who told us they were too busy to help us. The employees stood around and talked while we looked at stoves. After about 45 minutes we had finally agreed on which one to get . The employees were still to busy to help us. They called for another employee. We waited 15 minutes for the other employees who never came while the other two continued to stand and talk to each other. We ended up leaving without getting anything. I'm surprised this place is still in business when your employees ignore customers.

The staff at this location, no matter how busy, are always friendly and helpful. Not my closest location; but absolutely my favourite. Shopping here, big or small purchase; it's clear that my business is valued.

I regularly go to rona waterdown when I need materials and tools and have for the past 3 years. in the past couple months I had to make 2 returns one for a palm sander that I was experimenting with an other application ( not sanding ) and asked if it didn't work with this experimental application could I return it and I was told yes... when I returned the sander I was accused by the returns manager of trying to burn my employer and was given a hard time when I was trying to return it.Today I bought a table saw that had a defective guied, when I took it back to return it that same Manger accused me of buying to use it for the day and return it even after I had asked to remove the saw from the box to show her what the defect was.

If there was a minus 5 star rating, this is what RONA @Waterdown deserve.First time I went, I asked for some help. I had to ask twice before getting, after 30 min of waiting, a student. He was also looking for some extra help but no one ever showed up. Despite his hard work and good efforts, the poor guy gave me the wrong item and the wrong info re the return policy. So when I took the item back, I had to deal with the most rude customer service of the world and I did not get any refund. This is the most unprofessional, disrespectful and disorganized place I have ever been. They do not train their young employees, the most senior ones are hidden somewhere and, in case you meet them at the customer desk, they are just pitiful. Never here again . Never to RONA again.

Well maintained store. Pretty good selection of clearance items as well. I knew what I was after and where it was located, so I can't comment on staff at this time.All self checkouts were closed, but cashiers got everyone through quickly.
