Many find it overpriced, with higher costs on literally everything compared to other stores, though some note good prices. It is seen as a handy local option where people enjoy a friendly, talking, and laughing community feel.

Friendliest staff, freshest produce (except for roadside veggie stands). You pay a little more, but the saying "you get what you pay for" is true! Meat department is my favorite, although serving size is smaller, so I have to buy 2 of anything. Overall, very good

This Foodland grocery store has the best Owners/Managers in the world. They are very helpful, friendly and courteous to the customers. Its a lovely grocery store.
