“Excellent antique shop owned and run by two brothers who like dogs - so, you know they are good people. The shop is well organized. They sell quality items (no junk) that are priced to sell. Tons of parking. We will be back!”

“We had a kitchen cabinet panel that needed to match the rest of the cabinetry. Gregory gave me a quote to match the colour and spray the panel. I could not believe how much time he spent on what must have been his smallest job. He did so many iterations to make sure the match was perfect and insisted on honouring the original quote. Based on this and seeing all the beautiful furniture he had restored, we will return for additional work - for both wood and upholstered furniture. Thank you Gregory. It is clear you love what you do.”

“I found this cool little antique shop while exploring the city and was pleased to discover they make custom furniture too! Their items are made to order, very custom and extremely well priced! I ordered a bookshelf and am now designing matching end tables with their help.  A great place in the city for unique and affordable pieces for your home!”

“Unfortunately, your shop has been used in scammer scheme! As i see, i'm not the only one, who they contacted.

One of the solution would be to place a temporary banner on your website, that will be telling about this situation, so the people would know.”

“My very old ceramic kitchen clock is tick-tocking away, as good as it ever was. We thought it was a goner. Willem cleaned it to like new condition and it absolutely sparkles. The service was a bit more expensive than I expected, but you get what you pay for. Highly recommended.”

“Smashing IT!

The Handwork Department is a gem of a vintage store selling some amazing sought after items.

They have an amazing collection of vintage items from type writers, to camera, to kitchenware, to records and so much more.

Nestled in the heart of the Danforth where all the cool and hipster folks hang out, among the hustle and bustle of cafes and restaurants, why not take a walk inside and travel back in time.

You may just find something very charming that you'll fall in love with from the past!

Excellent customer service as well. The folks at the counter are there to help with any item of interest that you may have!”

“Great antique store with many beautiful treasures! I saw the comment of how the older gentleman locked the door behind the customer… that is very normal, especially in European countries ( which he is from) for safety reasons for himself from outsiders. We were buzzed in and buzzed out. He can’t just let people roam inside a store filled with so many valuable items!”

“Ransack is the best destination in town for vintage items and collectibles. The owner, Jesse, has a talent for finding this stuff, and I appreciate how welcome he makes you feel as you peruse through all of it.You'll more than likely end up picking up at least one item when visiting - and be sure to check the bin of vintage pins to look for some treasure.”

“Cool store. Like I visited as a child. And most importantly, everything is high quality, healthy and natural. I really liked the service, everyone was friendly and competent. The girls clearly know and love their work. You can also send a parcel to Russia. In front of me, people praised the cauldrons that they bought in this store 7 years ago and are still very happy with. I also bought a cauldron and a cauldron. I’ll also come back for pots, a washbasin like my grandmother had, woolen items and other gifts from my childhood. Thank you for a wonderful store and our memories!”
