Extremely disappointed with the customer service today! I went in with a list, wanting to support a local business and benefit from their experience at the same time. The employee was rude, grumpy, unhelpful. Had I not needed the items right away I would have spent my $200 elsewhere. I will not return.

BEWARE of this store and its owner. I have been a customer for twenty years and spent thousands in this store. It is under new ownership now and things have changed for the worse. I returned an unused gallon for credit some time ago and it was entered into their system as I was going to purchase more paint anyway. I went back today to claim the credit for more paint and the new owner said the credit was no longer in the system. Since I was never given a receipt for the transaction he would not honor the credit which was substantial - $80.00. Still the same store, he is using the same store name, and now is sullying the reputation of a long standing landmark on Bayview. The best part was, when I asked if he would honor this anyway, because I am a long standing customer, his response was verbatim: "thank you, bye bye". When I said seriously??, he said it again "Thank you, bye bye". I would suggest that everyone who is considering going to this store use the owners philosophy (thank you bye bye) and find another paint store to shop in. With this business acumen they will be gone soon enough and replaced by an owner as conscientious and business minded as the previous one was.
