This location was horrible..... I live right beside it and I would still go to warden location.. Not surprised to see it go.They had a miter saw stand listed on their website on clearance ... But scanned as regular price ....they literally gave me the run around for an hour telling me that first I wasnt on the Canadian site then store location. Which wasn't the case at all....was clear that it was incorrectly priced online but refused to just say that ... You would think advertised price would be honored...nope instead you are treated like a moron. Anyways to the point of this review ....Lowe's Danforth location is closingRona @ goldenmile is moving to into the Lowe's Eglinton locationSo 3 horrible locations now boxed up in 1Rona has a terrible return policy even worse than that are the associates processing them.

Today, October 22, 2023, at 2:15 PM, Ahmed, one of the staff, told me that the store doesn't carry this item 083162032638, a humidifier motor made by Air King. I even showed him the photo. I found the item in Isle 16 and showed him that the store sell the item I am looking for. He just said, "Well and good, you can proceed to the checkout. Very poor customer service. This is not the first time a staff member in the Danforth Branch will just say we don't carry an item I want to buy instead of assisting or checking the system to find the item. It is very frustrating for us customers.

I was really upset that my mother and I walked into the store and found that most of the time the staff was too busy talking to each other then to offer any customers help. Also I have some appliances from this place and let me tell you it was one of the worst experiences I've ever had purchasing an appliance. And the lovely lady that took care of me is no longer employed there. Instead they replaced her with a very rude individual who again was too busy talking to his coworkers then to help myself and my mother who repeatedly asked for help. I would definitely find another Lowe's or maybe even Home Depot for better customers.

I know there are a lot of different ratings of this place but my experience coming here over 5 projects and 2 years I have always had a great experience. Staff are mostly helpful and often above and beyond helpful. Most of the time what I'm looking for is in stock, which is why i initially started coming here over home depot. Price is marginally more than home depot but for me, home depot is a guaranteed frustrating experience with either none of what I need in stock or just jumbled in random spots and mostly staff not knowing where anything is or what it is for. The professionalism at Lowes, especially for the higher level employees is maybe the best I have ever seen in any retail environment. Like today a cashier noted I qualified for a save the GST discount over two different purchases and the customer service staff worked through it though it was kind of tedious to refund and reenter all of that, the hardware manager also priced/marked down something for me and noted that the other similar items I had got wouldn't be a good choice for outdoor applications, the lumber guys offered to help me load some stuff and encouraged me to swap some lumber out that I didn't feel good about and also walked me through the basics to look for in structural lumber. So while your mileage may vary, I can say for me this place is 110% and I love the people here. It's been a refreshing experience having this place to turn to for building projects. Shout out to Trevor, manager of the hardware department, even though you said you aren't the boss, you are definitely the Boss. Thank you very much for your help today and to the rest of the staff although I didn't happen to catch names. French Canadian (?) sounding lady was also quite on top of things over there in customer service.

Lowes is a replica of home depot, and has masked itself as a RONA by changing its name. The fact that rona and lowe's can turn a profit when home depot clearly has ten times the customers, Is a Testament to how much these places mark up their productWhen you buy that table saw for $499,⁹⁹ Remember that these Stores only paid $120 for it.Those "leather" workgloves that you paid $34.99 for... they bought 150,000 pairs for $2 each, which is all they are worthThe 13% Tax that they charge you on the items is more than they paid for the items themselves.... That is the only reason the government lets them get away with it.They are robbing your wallet. That being said, I still buy Lowe's table saws and gloves... But only out of necessity.... It's not like I can make my own sawI would never buy anything from any department store that I could do without. They sell BBQs that are over $1000 and they paid 200-250.Ego batteries up to $500 eachRobbers

Very disappointing experience. A shame, since this is one of local Lowe's and used to be one of the better ones. The problems are not isolated to this Lowe's but more Lowe's policy. However, the department manager here (June Feeney) is an absolute piece of work.Long story short, I purchased a harbor breeze (a Lowe's brand) ceiling fan (now a discontinued model) several years ago on clearance. The motor failed and after being instructed by both the warranty department and manufacturer to bring this back to Lowe's to honor the lifetime warranty claim, off I went.I first went to another Lowe's and the lighting manager started a case file with the Lowe's brands warranty department approval for replacement, however they were not able to process the return and needed the original purchasing store to do it.Arrived at this Lowe's and explained the situation. Customer service staff (particularly Archie) was friendly and helpful, helped me pick out a similar fan (size, color, etc). Everything was fine until it was time to settle the warranty. Needed manager approval to do the swap, and June is called in.June refuses the warranty swap. Offers to replace the fans only with paying the difference between the price of my original fan (at clearance price) and the replacement fan (at full price). I explain the situation that the other store's manager already started a warranty claim and they just couldn't process it at their store. June's response was "I don't care what the manager at the other store said that's not my business and you're not walking out of my store without paying for that fan".Further explaining that the owner manual and warranty literature stated that "the distributor agrees to correct any defect at no charge or, at our option, replace the ceiling fan with a comparable or superior model", I was advised that "you only paid (that much) money and you got four years out of your fan you should consider yourself lucky". So much for Lowe's standing behind its products.I suggested that June contact the warranty department to confirm the case number and approval and she refused. I called and asked her to stay nearby while I called so they could talk and clear the air - June refuses and walked away, not without adding a mocking "good luck, nobody will approve that" for good measure. At this point I was at the store for over an hour and other customers even joked to me their surprise that I was still here.Well, finally, after a call to complain to Lowe's head office, within two minutes a lovely lady by the name of Aleese had the situation sorted and Archie did a like for like swap because Aleese reasoned with the store to say that even though it wasn't Lowe's policy, it was a Lowe's brand with a lifetime warranty and "that's not how we should be treating our customers".@(store manager Greg Owens) and @(Lowe's Canada corporate office) - I would love to hear from you to further discuss department manager June Feeney's customer service, and how it was that only Aleese from head office was the only one that could see that it was inappropriate.

Look for Judah to get the best customer service! Since the moment you cross the door Judah will greet you and provide help. I was very impressed with how he promptly helped, even when I was buying something on clearance. He was attentive, helped us find a new model to take home and even helped us to put the item in our car!! he is a gem in customer service and we missed the deadline to complete the survey but the team At Lowe's should know how amazing he is with customers… I came to buy $5 silicone and came out with a great $500 deal

The service quality is way down now. I loved this store before. Their experienced contractors always gave me perfect advice with my house issues. This time, I simply stopped by to pick up some receipts I requested. It took 3 associates, 15 minutes, running around, yelling/bullying me, only to find the documents right in front of them after one of them nearly suffered from a severe panic attack.

They usually have what you need, but selection is limited. This location is closer for me than the closest Home Depot, so I use it occasionally out of convenience. When I have actual projects, I go to Home Depot. The customer service is much much better. It's much easier to find something at any Home Depot because the aisle and bin are labeled online. At Lowes I have to find someone and ask where something is if I don't already know. I hope RONA improves this after the takeover.I also often need lumber cuts. I've had associates at this location tell me they're unable to do multiple cuts on a piece of lumber because they "only do cuts for the material to fit in your vehicle". This ended up with me putting the stock back on the shelf and leaving. I've never had this response at Home Depot, they just give me the cuts I ask for.

This place is a disaster! Waited for 45 minutes to pick up some thing I ordered online. They claim to have no paperwork for it. Wednesday decided to give me one off the shelf. It was another 20 minute wait. While I was waiting at customer service, I observed other customers having similar other issues. I would not come back to the store or recommend it to anyone else.
