It's amazing when they get their frozen truck on Tuesday and I get there Wednesday morning before 8:30 AM and the freezer section is bare. How does this happen in a day ?

Had to take some stars off. Went into today and at 11am. The elderly lady with dyed blonde hair was very rude to me and said some snide remarks to a customer about me while I was checking out in self check out. It was very embarrassing when I was trying to buy some discounted ice cream for my large family that I normally wouldn't have been able to buy if not on sale. I am going to change pharmacy to the Rexall.

Useless when it comes to third party don't buy x box gift cards from this place. If you get a defective they do nothing and don't care just get there money and that's it just like there head office useless the head office doesn't even know the policy...ffs thanks. And also dont make people feel stupid when they don't check your online garbage waited for a month good gravy....

Store is ok but the pharmacy has become terrible. Gave them my prescription and they said come back in 30 minutes. When I did they said they didn't know about it and made me wait another 30 minutes. Bad enough, but the second time I went lately, this time for a "travel consultation", I waited 25 minutes passed my booked time, to then be pushed every vaccine they probably have. After deciding on the two I needed for my trip they said they'd get ahold of my doctor but never called me back to say the scripts were in. Once I called they told me I was suppose to call (how would I know they where in?) and that they only got one medication because the others been backordered for months (then why did you suggest it?). Now I get an email from my medical insurance company that they've billed me for a second medication. When I called Shoppers to find out what that was I'm told that my doctor prescribed something else because the second medication was backordered. Why am I finding this out from my medical insurance company, not Shoppers, the one that received my scripts and already spoke to me about them? When I mentioned this to the woman on the phone she said that I would have found out when I came in for my vaccine. Just terrible customer service. Thank goodness there are a couple more pharmacies in town, because this will be the last time I come here.

I just have good things to say about the pharmacy. They are really busy, I know, but they always try to get my wife's medication ready when she needs. The other day, she ordered a medication and when she went to pick it up, the pharmacyst noticed that she would need another of her medications soon, then, they said they would refil that one as well and let ready for her. They really care about our health!

We are so frustrated and disappointed with this pharmacy. We have used them for years. Once again today a prescription was dropped off at approximately 4pm. My husband was asked to wait for 1 1/2 hours. He said he would come back. I went back 2 hours later at 6pm and they hadn't even begun to fill it. I was then asked to wait 30-45 minutes. I said no that we would come back. We go back at least 1 1/2 hours later and it's still not ready. We are told it's being worked on. It took over half an hour for it to be ready. This has happened repeatedly!! Even if the medication is desperately needed for an infection or pain don’t expect your prescription to be filled in a timely matter.We think it's time to take all our monthly prescriptions elsewhere.

I came in at 2 minutes to close after the after hours clinic faxed my child’s prescription in. The pharmacist was kind and understanding AND stayed late to fill the prescription for me.Anywhere else would have told me to come back tomorrow - I’m thankful that he took the time to help me. They’ve got a lifelong customer with me from this moment on.

The pharmacy is a huge disappointment lately. I stood there a few days ago while 4 people were doing everything but acknowledging my existence. I was going to ask if the pharmacy was now self serve. This isn't new. Most of the long time regular employees are gone in every department in the store. I wonder why. This has happened several times now and I'm done. I will be moving all my meds to another pharmacy in Elmira. Stefan, don't bother to apologize, you didn't treat me much better. Elmira residents, pick another pharmacy in Elmira to support, this one doesn't care about your business.

I was told there's a PlayStation 5 there. When I called was there and wouldn't hold. My father literally went immediately... And arrived 7minutes after the phone call, and it was sold... Was an old lady who picked up.... Im very angry with this service.... Hope she gets fired.

The overall store is good but the pharmacy lacks immensely. Prescriptions are never ready when they say they will be. They don't call you back when they say they are going to either. Improved communication would help greatly.

Literally the worst pharmacy. You can call at 8:30 in the morning, tell them you need the prescription for 5pm and when you get there you still have to wait 30-45 minutes before they have it ready for you.Also this new system they have where they text you to tell you your prescription is "ready" is NOT accurate. They texted me saying my prescription was ready 1 week after I had just picked up a month's worth of refill. So 3 weeks later once my prescription runs out, I come by to pick it up, well guess what it's not actually ready because they empty out there "ready" prescriptions every 2-3weeks or once their drawer is full.But oh no, they don't text you to tell you it's cancelled or not ready anymore, you find out when you come in and then make you wait 35 minutes until it's ready. Pathetic service.

The Almira shoppers drug mart the lady in the pharmacy department Debbie stanton is amazing. She is warm welcoming helpful patient, funny I just love her and she’s always got a smile very courteous I give this woman more than a five star rating she’s fabulous there should be more like her in the stores. She’s one of a kind. A keeper for sure.!!!
