If I could rate this bank at a minus I would. Almost $1000 stolen from my account and failure to rectify this, no communication regarding it, police report filed and they will not be covering my loss as assured through deposit insurance corp. Your money is not safe at this institution and I will be closing my accounts with them. Customer service is terrible at this location and the condescending manner is atrocious. Do better and you might retain more of your business.

If I could give this bank 0 stars I would. BMO Bank's customer service is utterly disappointing, marked by excruciating wait times, abysmal communication, and a glaring lack of professionalism. My experience raises serious concerns about their commitment to customer satisfaction. Immediate and substantial improvements are imperative. Management quite clearly has no interest in improving the lines of communication. If you can avoid this bank run and run fast.I think it's incredibly telling that my review received a faster and more appropriate response then when I called to let you know that your poor business practices have left me stranded with no access to my fund. Although in fairness any response would have been faster and more appropriate.

I needed a new account to fix a recurring challenge with my pay cheque. Lirie patiently listened, and quickly reviewed all options for me. Phoned this bank 4 times trying to speak to an actual human to no avail. The voicemail says they will return your call by the end of that business day and I have never received a call back. Do not deal with this branch.This was in regards to my mother's estate and I have been left hanging in a time when I should be grieving. Terrible BMO.

If I could I give -100, the bank teller introduce me to upgrade for new ms card with 5% cash back, but never tell me I am not able to cancel it and go back to original card. After the fact I know it I told her to cancel the upgrade few seconds, she called Ms card and told me it can’t be change back m, I am going to list my old master card for ever, if I either keep the new one or cancel it , it’s force selling!!!!

If I could rate a 0 or negative rating I would. Worst customer service ever. We made an appointment to discuss my mother-in-law's estate. My husband showed up on time and they weren't prepared and told him to come back, so he wasted his time going there. He has been back several times and has continued to get the run-around. He even tried speaking with the manager, with no resolution. He called many times and no one answered the phone. It's now been 6 weeks since he first advised this branch of his mother's passing and they have been completely uncooperative, rude, and inconsiderate. This is unacceptable, especially as we are grieving the death of my husband's mother. The lack of compassion is remarkable.

75% of the staff working here are rude and inconsiderate.I had a complicated situation with closed accounts and was being spoke to in a negative way because it was not a simple transaction.Every chance to not help and make me leave was taken "Oh you have to call" "We can't access this here" "Your account does not exist"Two staff members tried to convince me I had to call customer service again or simply leave unsatisfied.I had a unique situation that required time to address and was asked to sit.After 10 minutes I was asked to stand to let other customers sit for no apparent reason other than a third staff member wanting the only seated kiosk for herself.I was still being assisted yet asked to stand and wait.We ended up finding my account and the appropriate help was given but not without having to repeat myself multiple times and refuse being redirected to phone lines or leave to assist others.I was with BMO from aged 10-30I was offered lots of predatory credit increases at a young age which I used because I had precarious work at the time. When I tried to consolidate with BMO they denied me a line of credit and I had to search elsewhere. I am quite happy since I switched over to TD Canada.BMO = BAD
