I have made multiple purchases at Designer Exchange over the years; each time Nyla has gone above and beyond to make sure I was satisfied. I really appreciated the certificates of authenticity that she provided me for some bigger ticket items which gave me confidence. Her store is a staple in the Kingsway community and smells great.

Designer Exchange and its owner Nyla treat consignors with complete disrespect. Emails and payment requests are ignored, communication is manipulative, and payouts are never honest or transparent. The final straw came when I inquired about unreturned items. The owner categorically denied having them, insisting they'd been given back. Only when I refused to accept this did she send an employee to the basement, where the 'missing' items were suddenly found. This is a perfect example of their blatant dishonesty.
A business built on deception and humiliation of clients – AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

The only place to shop second hand designer in Toronto. The most incredible selection and staff, i've found some of the most amazing designer finds for unbelievable prices. They even have a chair to leave your boyfriend in while you chat and shop <3

I left a bag to sell there, the staff said to me in 2 days they would contact me, it took 2 weeks. They don't contact you when they sell the item, YOU have to contact them and they told me they sold my bag with 50% off, it means, 50% off the money they promised me. It took 3 months until I have my money, I just had it when I said I would sue them, after several no answered e mails. Detail : they NEVER proved to me they really sold it with 50% off. They are not reliable.

This is my all time favourite consignment store in all of Toronto!!Nyla and her team get the most amazing pieces in all of the time, and it's never over picked like you would find in some of the downtown shops. Prices are always fair, and the staff are consistently cool, friendly and knowledgable on the brands. Nyla is an absolute FORCE when it comes to curating that shop with amazingly cute lil vintage bags and the most adorable and gorg pieces.

Had a great experience shopping here. The selection is wonderfully curated and the prices are super fair. Ended up getting two dresses that fit me like a glove. The person working there was very friendly and helpful in giving me a second opinion on fit/look. I’ll definitely be back!!
