I am extremely disappointed with this Loblaws location. On several occasions, staff have been unable to correctly process a Status Indian tax exemption, and each time it becomes an uncomfortable, time consuming situation for myself and other customers in line.
This is not a rare or unusual request. This is a Canadian business operating in Canada, and Indigenous rights, including tax exemptions, are not optional or “special cases.” Employees should be properly trained to handle this correctly and respectfully without needing managers to scramble or customers to repeatedly explain their legal rights.
The fact that this keeps happening shows a clear lack of staff training. It is unacceptable in 2026 that Indigenous customers are still being put in this position at a major national retailer.
Loblaws needs to ensure proper, mandatory training for all employees so this process is handled smoothly, accurately, and with basic respect.

Frequently visit this location for lunch. The food is good, but the service is quite slow. The cold prepared food section in particular takes ages to be served as employees just ignore it all together. I have been waiting to be served while employees chat on their phones behind the wall in full view. When I do finally get served, it is slow and inconsistent. I like the cold plate food offers, but the service is so bad I usually just skip over it.

For a long time, I have been participating in your stamps campaign through my regular shopping and carefully collecting stamps to redeem the campaign products. However, every time I come to the store to claim the item I worked towards, I receive the same response: “The product is out of stock.”
Despite this, I am repeatedly offered alternative products that I do not need. Honestly, this makes me feel like I am not being taken seriously as a customer. If the campaign items are not going to be consistently available, why are customers asked to spend months collecting stamps for them?
This has not happened once, but many times. People spend their time and money shopping specifically to collect these stamps and receive a particular product. Being told that the item is unavailable and then being pushed toward a different product completely defeats the purpose of the campaign and harms customer satisfaction.
If you are unable to supply enough products to meet demand, this should be clearly stated from the beginning. Otherwise, this campaign becomes misleading for customers.
I expect a clear explanation and a permanent solution to this issue. I do not want to experience the same disappointment again.

Just got home and opened up the Game Day Bucket meal that's supposed to feed 6 people (wings and wedges) and there's barely enough wedges for 3 people; for hungry guys, maybe 2. Super disappointing.

Such a lovely and kind experience with the bakery department. Both Emy and Hilda went above and beyond to make my son’s 5th birthday cake truly special.
They were incredibly kind and accommodating, working hard to find a creative solution despite the limited options available. They suggested bringing in cleaned Thomas toy trains to achieve the theme he wanted for his party when it wasn’t shown in the book.
The cake was beautiful and absolutely delicious. We’re already looking forward to the next birthday—just so we have an excuse to order more cakes!

In 2026 they still require a physical receipt to make any returns. I had a photo of my receipt on my phone and they asked that I come back with the physical. This store is 10 years behind any other stores

The women at the self checkout are aggressive and violent ! I scanned a product that came up as the wrong price. I was told it wasn’t wrong. It was. After asking for the manager another lady aggressively told me I was wrong again. I went to show her a picture of the shelf price tag when she SMACKED my arm and almost knocked my phone out of my hand! I am just shocked and disgusted that she would think it’s ok to hit me or even lay her hands on me. She accused me of taking a photo of her, which still doesn’t give her any right to hit me. Such a horrible experience. I’ll never go back. Shame on you Loblaws.

I have a number of unfortunate instances at this location
(1) On a Monday, I picked up the chicken deal. It was 645 pm and they ran put of sides other than the wedges. They refused to make a batch of new sweet potato fries. I complained to the manager so I got a side of burnt sweet potato fries and burnt onion rings.
(2) Mushy salmon filet on two occasions. I will now pay more at Farmboy.
(3) The saddest part was being singled out in the self check out. I am Asian. If someone was going to steal, why would they press the help button. Why would I want to lose my professional designation on a grocery item? I do not like my stuff touching raw meat, so I laid a plastic bag on the scanner that weighs fruits and vegetable. If I was going to steal, why would I turn my cart around to scan the waters at the back bottom of the cart. I scan my meats last and I ain't going to risk stealing $15 of meat to go to jail. And by the way, that small scallops potato was part of the chicken combo I scanned.
I told her I was feeling harassed... why would I risk my professional designation. No sorry ... Simply I am doing my job. And she continued the questioning. I said feel free to check everything.
By the way, she went to the next customer of her race. In a nice tone, are you struggling with scanning. A very different tone.
My ask: please treat each race with the same respect and please get some customer service training.

Great location. I lost my wallet with all cards in it but 2 days after I called and the store kept it after someone handed in. Loretta was the manager and thank you for all who helped me. God bless!

I recently bought the Loblaws tortilla chips for $5.00 which I thought were the best when they first came up. However lately they have over salted them. I just had to take them out and clean the extra salt. It's very offensive the amount of salt. (SEE PICTURES)

Worst customer service! Management and employees are all rude and tired (if you can find anyone to help). I do not recommend this location. Or ordering from Flashfood at this location neither, as it's locked behind customer service (which closes at 8, even though the store is open til 10)

Although this is one of my favourite stores, I must give it only four stars since their guest space and washrooms on the second floor are poorly cleaned. Every time I go there, I get upset about the utter lack of care an cleanliness of the tables, microwave, garbage station, washroom doors and in general lack of care of that space which is in a sharp contrast with the rest of the store.
