Asked for a size M on a new arrival sweater and the response I got was “oh I think they only come in one size”. I said no (because I looked), and the girl responded “oh well we just put all the new arrivals out 1 hour ago so if it’s not there we don’t have it”……..ok so at least don’t insult my intelligence and tell me the truth; that you’re too lazy to go and check. Got it! You’re going nowhere in life

Terribly rude sales girl, I witnessed a stranger speak to my mother in a demeaning tone for the first time, it was so odd. I didn’t catch her name but she had very stark long black eyebrows. Did not buy anything from the stuff I prepared for checkout.

If you're looking for somewhat good customer service and polite retail staff I'd avoid Oak + Fort Sherway.Besides the oblig hello when you first enter, the staff here are either unhelpful/unknowledgeable at best and rude at worst. When I visited, 95% of the staff were either behind the cash register or in the back - it was hard to get anyone's attention or make eye contact. If you do manage to find a staff member to assist you, they still won't be able to help bec they've never heard of the items and won't bother looking (even though online it says Sherway has it in stock) but will instead direct you to another associate who will treat you with more disdain than a luxury high end store associate. Honestly I would somewhat understand all this if the store was busier and they were understaffed and maybe feeling stressed but neither was the case when I was there.Either order online and/or avoid this retail location as it seems like unprofessionalism isn't anything new according to other reviews on Google.

Every time I’ve been in this store, I’ve been greeted and asked if I needed assistance.I enjoy the minimalist styles and have had great experiences here.The staff are always friendly and helpful at this location. The only OAK + FORT I enjoy shopping at!

There is not a lot of selection as this store is not very big. We picked up few items and the lady that served us was very friendly.

I bought my wife a pair of jeans at full price as part of her Christmas gifts & they did not fit and when we tired to return them the “manager” Bianca told us the item was on sale and we could not return it and only get store credit. I told her this could not be possible since I had paid full price. I also asked the employees about the return policy when I purchased the item and confirmed it on the receipt. Bianca did not explain why and continued to process the order as store credit. She then realized her error that we were entitled to a full refund for my money back and instead of apologizing for her mistake and Bianca tried to make it seem like she was doing us a kindness by giving us a refund. When according to store policy we were entitled to one and it had only been 5 days since I bought it with the tags on and receipt. I just think that is extremely unprofessional and just plain wrong. She was not doing us an favour by following store procedures and we shouldn’t be made to think that. My wife is so gracious she even thanked this woman. Ultimately we would have just used the store credit to get something else but the situation did not sit right with me. Since the managers can just brazenly violate store policy with no explanation we will not be returning here. Heaven forbid something does fit and we needed to exchange or return it.

I ordered something online for pickup and the wrong item was packaged and given to me. I’ve tried calling several times and the phone is never answered. Not sure how to rectify my problem

I have picked up my online order at Oak and Fort Sherway GardenThe staff there gave me my package which was locked in the plastic bag. I didn’t unbox there as I trust the staff. He also said the receipt was in the unopened bag.When I came home and unboxed it, I found out that one off-white jacket was missing from the package ( I ordered 2 of the same ones).I was really disappointed as it took me so long to get to the store and now one item was missing.When I called the store, a girl was helping me sort out the problem but it didn't make me feel better as they didn't feel that was their mistake. No apology :)I ended up coming back to the store to pick up that item. It was waste of my time and I don't think I will come back to this store as the staff there aren't not welcoming and friendly either.

Horrible customer service. A bag I recently bought has its stitching come undone even though I hadn’t used it much. I didn’t think it would be an issue that couldn’t be handled and emailed customer service expecting an easy exchange for the bag and they declined to help out at all. Didn’t expect such a high end company to be this cheap when it comes to taking care of it’s customers. Disappointed.

I was never greeted once entering the store. Saw them greeting other people who walked in after me. This has happened couple of times, not shopping there anymore.An associate was very unprofessional. Chewing gum while chatting with customers. Sorry but I find this very disrespectful

I wanted to inform you of an experience I had at the Sherway location. My cousin, being a bit overweight was treated horribly right in front of me. When asking for a pair of shoes she was discouraged by her size. We followed by talking to another kind sales rep Lisa was so kind and gentle. We thought our experience would end there. At the cash, my cousin proceeded to pay for my pants (small size) and was asked by the rude sales rep if those were for her in a condescending tone. This absolutly unacceptable. Women should not be judged by their weight especially when bringing sales to your establishment.
