Extremely happy with the project that Rock Bottom Underpinning completed for us. The team is reliable, efficient, and hard working. Work was finished within the given time frame and budget. Jamie Ferreira, the project manager, was professional and attentive to our needs. Outstanding end result; excellent quality. Highly recommended!

Jamie and Frank and crew did a good job and completed the project efficiently but that same crew caused damage to our gate and the container driver fully dislodged one of our fence posts. Rock Bottom came recommended to us by our hardscape landscaper who knew the owner Dion. Dion agreed to pay for the repairs to the gate and replacing of the post (which our landscaper would complete and bill Dion for, as agreed upon with Dion) but it's been nearly a year since the job was completed and he has not paid. It's rich coming from a company that often requested payment before the agreed upon payment schedule dates. Integrity is not part of the operation at Rock Bottom and I regret recommending them to neighbors.

Rock Bottom handled my home’s underpinning during summer 2023. This was a somewhat complex job due to the house being a semi-detached and needing extensive changes to the water and electrical connections coming into the house as well as special land clearances, permissions, and permits being required. The guys at Rock Bottom made it simple.
Rock Bottom managed to complete the job very close to their original time estimate, despite very rainy and uncooperative weather. Most importantly they delivered on budget with no major surprises. We greatly appreciated both of these factors as a family with young children looking to minimize the disruption to our home!
The entire team was a pleasure to deal with, right from my initial conversation with Dion, through to Jamie ensuring everything was well coordinated with our basement renovation contractor. A special thank you though is owed to Daniel for his amazing help fielding our many calls and even more questions and for help with various government program and rebate paperwork, and just generally being a super professional, friendly, and helpful guy!
Glad to have hired Rock Bottom and would recommend them!

Underpinning is like laser eye surgery.. if it goes wrong it’s very bad. These guys are high quality, on time and budget. If I did this job again I’d hire them direct rather than through a GC.

Beware the red flags or end up in a bad dream! We hired Rock Bottom last year for a pretty simple underpinning job. They caused property damage to a fence and the owner, Dion, agreed to pay for the repair work needed. He then disappeared, and won't answer our calls. We had to go through collections and still to this day, not a cent is paid. Choosing to use Rock Bottom has been an absolute nightmare.

They do good work but the owner is a scam artist. He damaged my clients property, said he'd pay for repairs but then completely ghosted. Dion is a sack of rotten potatoes who cannot be trusted.

Rock Bottom renewed my faith in contractors. They were unbelievable responsive, available to answer all of my questions at every step. The crew was early every day and put in long hours to get the job as quickly as possible. There were a couple of surprises discovered when they dug down and none of it impacted the price I paid. The crew was friendly, happy, and incredibly hard-working. I cannot recommend Rock Bottom highly enough. I'd hire them again in a heartbeat. I'm thrilled with my new basement!

Amazing work.I hired Rock Bottom Underpinning to do underpinning for my basement and I am very impressed with their work. Dion and his team were professional, courteous, and efficient throughout the whole process.They explained everything to me clearly and answered all my questions. They completed the job on time and on budget, and left the site clean and tidy. My basement is now 2' feet higher and is much more spacious and comfortable, and I am very happy with the results. I would highly recommend Rock Bottom Underpinning to anyone looking for underpinning services in Toronto.They are the best in the business!
