Seemingly their pharmacy closes earlier than the rest of the store, but along with that once the pharmacy closes they have picked random over the counter items to lock up that you arent allowed to buy. If i didnt need a prescription or to even acknowledge the pharmacist to buy the thing i wanted then why lock it up to where no other coworker can help?

Used this store for grocery pick-up (10-15 orders), not had any issues. The staff are friendly, and are happy to load up the items into your car. The inside is clean. This feels like one of the better stores they have, they focus more on space for groceries rather than clothing. My only criticism is that their selection of British items is poor.

I placed order online for next day printing at the photo centre on Jan 9th. I went in on Jan 11th when my order was marked ready for pick up at the north queen location. The guy at the photo centre told me they don’t print orders since Christmas and my order isn’t there. I showed my order information saying it’s ready for pick up there it’s for next day printing which is more than enough time it should be here if I have it saying ready for pick up. He said no they don’t do online orders since Christmas. He said I would have contact a 3rd party company to get my money back. So I asked for supervisor because this didn’t make sense that I have notification to pick up and now he’s saying not only is it not ready but that they don’t do orders like this. I have done this many times so it made no sense. He told me there is no supervisor I would have to go to customer service. So I go there and they say the same thing, they don’t have supplies to print any more. So I asked for manager, I to find out why is the site letting me order next day prints to this store if they don’t do that anymore, and why did I get email saying it was ready if it’s not and won’t be? She called back and forth, screen shot my order info that I had already shared with the guy and she said they were still having trouble.
She then brought us back over to the photo center and quickly grabbed my order that was indeed sitting there ready for pick up. The guy wasted my time going back and forth and waiting for manager because he couldn’t be bothered to even check if my order was there just kept saying they don’t have this service since Christmas. Not impressed by Walmart or the customer service! It shouldn’t take this long or a store manager to pick up an order that was ready for pick up!

Just wanted to share a special thanks to Kunal in the Photo/Electronics department for going above and beyond to correct a mistake made on a photo gift we had ordered. He listened, took it upon himself to handle the situation and followed up a few days later. Though he wasn't the one that created the error, we are grateful to him for taking the time to make it right.

Unprofessional handling of Western Union transaction – Etobicoke Walmart
I am writing to report an issue I experienced while trying to receive a Western Union transfer at the Walmart customer service desk in Etobicoke.
I visited the location two times this week to receive a Western Union transfer that had already been sent and was available. On both visits, staff told me the “system was down” without attempting to process the transaction.
On the second visit, when I insisted that the transaction be tried, the cashier stated that calling a manager would be required and walked away to speak with the manager out of my hearing range. During this time, the cashier was laughing while speaking on the phone and looking back at me, which I found disrespectful.
The manager then came over, did not greet me, and abruptly asked for my ID and MTCN. Once entered, the transfer was completed immediately and successfully, with funds deposited directly to my debit card.
This confirms that the system was not down and that the earlier refusals were unjustified. I found both the lack of courtesy and the misleading information provided by staff to be unprofessional.
I am submitting this feedback so that staff can be reminded of proper customer service standards and correct handling of Western Union transactions.

Pick up order metrics are dumb. Causing pickup process to be confusing.
If I select “I’m on my way” 15 min before coming, the order is “finished” and given to customer service desk before I arrive.
If I arrive and select “I arrived” - the order is “finished” on the app in a few seconds but I still have to wait 5+ min for actual pickup.
Stop measuring time and start measuring customer satisfaction (per order, not per each item)

I’ve purchased quite a few items from this store through various food delivery companies and have experienced issues with expired items. Take a close look at what you buy from this store. They keep expired items on their shelves, which is a health and safety issue! These items were purchased via Ubereats November 29th, 2025.

Unprofessional and terrible customer service. Was at this location, found some Lindor Dubai chocolate which had a sign saying 2 for $9. When I got to self checkout. The item
Scanned as $18 each. I called over one of the associates named Vishnu, told him about the issue. He tells me to go into the aisle and take a picture of the price and bring it to him. This is the job of the employee to go confirm the price. Not the job of the customer. I told him as much. Never seen any store tell the customer to go check the price when they always call an associate. I told Vishnu that either he should do it or ask someone else to do it. I didn’t even care for the product and just wanted to have it removed as mistakes can happen but his lack of manners when I told him the issue was very perplexing. He then proceeded to his other co workers and were speaking a south asian language. Where is the professionalism. This starts from the store owners and management. They obviously don’t train or give proper guidance to deal with customers. And you most certainly speak English in the workplace. I will writing about this incident to Walmart CEOs office.

On December 16th I purchased a pajama for my 7 years old son from this branch and when I asked him to try it on at home,my son went into hysterical condition because there was a dead rat/mouse attached inside the pajama after he dressed it up!!!I was extremely shocked and panicked how to take it off from him while he was screaming and peed on himself from the fear.I went back immediately to this branch showing them what I got and they offered refund or exchange!!! which is the regular process if I want to return any item for any reason!! Ignoring what sequences and side effects happened to 7 years old boy.Another disaster when I went to the children’s section where I picked the pajama with the store manager there was another similar item hanged full of dead bugs!! No any action taken yet regards this incident and I’m taking my son to psychiatric doctor currently.
Who is responsible !!!and why should I go through all this!! I’m treating my son from fear and bed wetting since that day!! Be careful parents!!

The e-commerce pick up department sucks.
Had a worst experience with one of the employee who barely spoke in English and cursed me in some Indian language while I was asking them to load properly in my car.

I was in store Thursday Oct 23 at approximately 11:30pm with a friend. I was picking up 300mg of iron pills and was given a less doseage. I was assured by pharmacist and cashier that this was the right one. Caused my hemoglobin to drop to 80. This is very serious due to my health.

One of the worst Walmarts! Their customer service is definitely the worst I’ve seen a ne they seem to have a little mob running the place! They try and trick the system by updating the pick up orders as picked up when they haven’t even came out to give it to you. So corrupt. I think someone needs from their corporate office needs to pay close attention to their staff before it falls apart. Very poor management of this store. It used to be once of the best out there but has deteriorated drastically because of their poor staff, management, and professionalism.
