Sunday the 8th I was in looking for help with my LG G3 dropping wifi. I believe his name is Glen (sorry if I'm wrong) he was very informative and I had him swap the SIM card on spec. I should say at this point that I had been on line several hours searching for a solution. Anyway that swap didn't help but we had to do it to eliminate a possible cause. I found the solution on a video on line. So pass this fyi onto Glen. Remove the battery and simThen remove the plate covering the mother board and chips. Cut a piece of credit card or similar thickness paper the size of the wifi/bluetooth chip and carefully cover it. Replace the cover and screw snugly. Replace sim, battery and back cover. It worled for me. Apparently some LG phones have a contact problem with the wifi chip. Thanks
