This is the only retailer in the Kawartha Lakes area that will not issue rain checks without forcing customers to pay for the item beforehand. I complained to the dealer, Steve Wilson who seemed to feel customer service was less important than his bottom line. This dealer has a poor record with regard to customer service (see other Google reviews). On this day I had expected to buy two items, including a $200 toilet. Instead, I bought the sale item from the Lindsay store and the toilet from the Home Hardware next door.In the future, except for minor purchases, I will shop where my patronage is better appreciated.Since I posted my original review, I have spoken with the customer service team at CT's home office. They agreed with me that what is offered is not a rain check at all but a paid order. They will have the district manager speak to the owner about this ridiculous policy.Yesterday, Feb 14th, I received an email from the customer service team at CT's home office. I was advised the store had revised its rain check policy and now offered a rain check but would not hold the merchandise or notify the customer of the arrival of new inventory. If the customer wished to have the merchandise held and contacted when it arrived, they needed to make a pre-paid order. This is in line with the rain check policy of other retailers in the area.Today on March 3rd I have discovered the store no longer offers rainchecks but only prepaid orders on sale merchandise they are out of stock. The dealer, after speaking with home office reversed his policy. He obviously lacks integrity. I strongly recommend that people should shop elsewhere.

Met Jeddy at car service dept. he looked after me right away, fixed flat tire , inflated spare. I know it is not a big deal, but he was nice, polite and focused on customer needs quickly. We need more people like him…. Great job

The old lady at the cash, incredibly rude.“That all, card or cash” wouldn’t even look at me. When I paid and the receipt was printed, it was grabbed and handed to me without even looking or a thankyou. The customer service needs work.Head over to the home hardware if you need anything, they are so friendly and helpful!

Amazing uplifting experience (returning a kettle) today at the CTC in Fenelon — after being treated disrespectfully when I had initially returned it to the store where I purchased it in my home town (Minden). . Absolutely no comparison in customer service.

Poor service with extreme price gouging at CTC in Fenelon Falls.Situation one - price to install and supply a battery on pick up truck. Outrageous $400.00!!!!!!!Situation two - safety a small car and install a emergency cable. Outrageous nearly $1000.00!!!!!!The list goes on!!!!!!!!

Jacob is truly incredible!! Despite managing a large box store - which can often get lost in corporate disconnect from their customers - he spends the extra time and energy to ensure that Canadian Tire Fenelon Falls provides a small town personal connection with all patrons on top of the large selection of products that are offered at the store.I am also very impressed with the speedy services at the service ontario in the building.

The CTC in Fenelon tries its best to have a wide array of items in stock, however this location is quite small and cramped. Finding someone to help you can be next to impossible at times, which is odd considering the store is so small. The aisles are so small, I would think that this store would be a nightmare for people with mobility scooters to navigate. I walk with a cane and find it tough to get around. This location does have a non heated addition for seasonal items. Outside of that, this CTC has a garden center that is fairly complete. It's not huge, but it has the essentials. Really, for a small town CTC, this store is pretty good.
