“Fantastic shop. Visited with my wife and we could have wandered around for hours. The gentleman behind the counter was welcoming and showed us some fascinating historic Shakespeare books. We bought 4 books and I thought the price of ~$26 was very reasonable. Will be coming back and recommending to friends.”

“I've been going to the Scented Market for the past year since I moved here to Fergus... today I popped in to buy my usual scents for my melting pots and was greated by a lovely gal by the name of Alyssa. She was helpful and suggestive but not pushy as I knew what I was looking for. She offered to show me some alternative scents and I actually left the store with the scents she suggested. Kudos to the Scented market for their great staff.....and helping me jump out of my comfort scent zone !”

You can tell a lot of thought goes into curating everything — nothing feels mass-produced or boring. I especially loved the mermaid- and ocean-themed items that match the shop’s name. There’s a playful yet relaxing atmosphere, and it’s easy to spend more time browsing than you planned!

The staff are incredibly kind and welcoming, which adds to the overall experience. They don’t rush you and are always happy to chat or help you find that perfect little gift or souvenir. The prices are reasonable for a boutique store, and it’s clear they support local artists and small makers, which I really appreciate.

Loved the collection they had. I got a nice linen blazer here, a cute painting and other trinkets. I thought I lost my wallet here and then was running around all over to find it. The staff were so helpful! I ran to their sister store! They were also super helpful. They took my details to let me know if they find it. I love a cute little town with full of good vibes and kind people! I found the wallet elsewhere finally but the fact that they were fully invested in helping me find it speaks volumes!

Will definitely return here with our dog again and I promise to keep my belongings safe so as to not trouble anyone there next time!”
