I have been going here for a few years… Prices have always been reasonable.. My last visit there was a discrepancy between what I was quoted and what work was actually done… After bringing it up, Jenna made it right!.. Honest!… Ethical!

Quick and responsive service. The sorted my tire puncture and replacement tire same day! Have used them before for windshield stone chips and always a great experience. Very efficient.

True Auto is a fantastic mechanic. They were very attentive to my cars needs and clearly communicated the price as well as any additional repairs or maintenance the car needed. I will definitely return.

We feel True Auto Care was dishonest and overpriced.
They refused to answer very basic questions regarding our truck, such as: how does a truck fail in this way having driven approximately 200 kms since its last safety? They did not provide an answer and once they realized they had conducted the previous safety stated "even if we wanted to work with you at this point the safety has been submitted to the ministry as a fail and the repairs need to be completed" this felt really sketchy and evasive as a response.
I am not saying the repairs did not need to be completed. Every other mechanic we asked the same question provided very clear answers as to how it could happen, which just made their response feel even more dishonest.
We were quoted $900 for the required repairs. We sought quotes from 6 other auto shops in Fergus/Guelph: 5 out of these 6 shops quoted under $600 and one in Guelph quoted $610.
We would never return to True Auto Care with any vehicle as we have no confidence that they are honest business people or mechanics.

My girlfriend dropped off her SUV to true auto care, the customer service was good but the techs working on the vehicle were terrible, there was noise when stopping or turning - they thought nothing was wrong with it even-though you could hear the vibration/noise clear as day afterwards - we left wondering if we would be able to fix the vehicle or if we had to buy another one. So we got a second opinion and what do you know it was the brakes - NOT INSTALLED properly they were loose fitted and a very serious safety matter. This new shop ended up installing the brakes properly and everything ended up being great after that visit and they ended up charging 3x less and solved the issue within an hour unlike a whole day like True Auto Care. Once again if you want cheap parts, and a repair that will be done incorrectly don’t go here. They have lost our business and all our family and friends.

I would NOT recommend this place to anyone. I took my SUV here to have my brakes replaced/serviced. While their customer service was excellent, I was charged $2700 only to get my car back and have even more problems than when I dropped it off. My car began making very loud rubbing sounds when braking or turning, intense vibrations, and my alignment feeling wonky. After a few days I took it back to them to be checked. I explained the concerns I having only for them to tell me they couldn’t feel or hear anything unusual when they drove it and they informed me everything looked normal with the brakes. I thought this was strange at the time given that the noises were VERY loud and hard to miss. They then proceeded to tell me it had to be a problem with my drive shaft or u-joint so they inspected that and said everything was normal. The loud noises, vibrations, and pulling continued so I took my car to a different mechanic. Come to find out, my callipers and brake pads were loose and ill fitted. He informed me how dangerous this could have been to my safety while driving and also let me know that the parts they used were very poor quality. Unsurprisingly, my car feels brand new again, but ill need to replace these poor quality brakes again soon.
