“Getting married here is super simple- it's perfect if that's the type of wedding you are seeking. Everything is straight forward - it's like a one stop shop for wedding needs. The chapel is a nice intimate setting, and the location serves as a place for beautiful photos to commemorate your special day. Our family really enjoyed it. Plus, after the wedding you, are already in Niagra Falls to share your time as newly weds.Elope Niagra really made our ceremony special and memorable. Even enjoyed parking at the dock and seeing the mighty Niagra River and the USA on the other side-its a gorgeous location.I'd recommend it for those who want something special but without all the hassle of wedding planning, yet still getting something really wonderful. The wedding details are all taken care of, and any thing you have to do like paper work, is easily explained and any questions you may have easily answered. There are different packages for different needs -we chose a ceremony in the chapel and photos. It went smoothly. In regards to choosing a special day, all four seasons would hold significant charm for different reasons-we had autumn as it's the season we met ❤️. Can really see the appeal of this service any time of the year.”

“I've been to every business that provides this experience in Buffalo. This is the most immersive and impressive. We had a great time, Anna was a great host who let us figure things out on our own and beat the room with pride.”

“Seats were nice in the balcony, I don't think there is a bad seat in the house. Sound was a bit off in the beginning but they adjusted the mics for the singers and it got better”

“This Edwardian building has some fabulous architecture, and now houses the Ukrainian Cultural Center. We stopped in for some food (the proceeds going to the Ukrainian support the Ukrainian people during the war), and got to see the bar area with it's vaulted ceilings. The bar is staffed entirely by volunteers, and has a neat selection of Ukrainian beers. The food was also made by volunteers, and we needed a translator to order! Everything was great, and the people were all welcoming. While the area isn't the greatest, they do have a parking lot on the east side of the building which can get packed, but offers fenced off-street parking.”

“Great vibes here, and the place continues to get better every year. Be sure to look up the historical connections to Frank Lloyd Wright and the hydroelectric capabilities this area provided when visiting the top quality venues nearby.”

“As a fellow wedding vendor, I simply love photographing in the recently renovated space at Rich's Catering, industrial meets elegance. It's size is perfect for large weddings and events. Staff is wonderful and food is delicious. ?”

“This is a great community space with pop-up vegan markets, special holiday events, and commercial kitchen space for rent for fledgling vegan businesses. I came for the Valentine's Day market as well as their special St. Patrick's Day vegan reuben event. There's a small shop in the front of the building with the event space behind that and the kitchen behind. What a great addition to the growing Tonawanda vegan scene! A stone's throw from Guud and Evuul and the a hop, skip, and a jump to the Vegan Grocery Store.”

“The place has good vibes. We went there on a Friday evening and it was absolutely lit ?. It’s massive with good crowd. The food and drinks are really good. Not many options for vegetarians but whatever they have tastes authentic. We ordered nachos with queso dip which was loaded, vegetarian pizza and pasta tasted delicious too. Our friends ordered wings and beer and were relishing the taste. Must visit if you like Italian with drinks.Vegetarian options: They have some vegetarian options including wraps, pizza and pasta”

“Had a fabulous time Ice skating @ Canalside. Rentals were $5 per person. Admission is $8. Lockers $1.Pros: beautiful landscape.Friendly people willing to give out free lessons.Cons: they were out of many sizes of skates due to the demand of people coming in. Skates were hit or miss. Some were good condition, some were completely mangled.Long waits for rentals (so bring your own!!)Parking is sparse unless you are okay with paying ($5-$20).Overall, I would come again. Probably not on the weekend since parking is tricky & the crowding on the ice makes it hard to find your rhythm.”

“I could write an entire novel on why The Loft at Thin Man Brewery is the most perfect venue in the world (but I'm pretty sure Google Reviews have a character limit so I'm going to try to summarize). First of all - the vibes are unparalleled. I don't know how else to say it. It's classy and comfortable simultaneously - the twinkle lights make it cozy and magical and the giant windows are breathtaking. I was obsessed with the fact that they had so many in-house options for decorating - we honestly brought none of our own decor and the venue was absolutely beautiful with the decorations they supplied. We had to pivot to an indoor ceremony last minute because of unexpected rain - but you couldn't even tell that it wasn't the original plan because of how quickly the team got everything set up and ready to go. We told Kayla and Dana several times that they should be charging more...because we felt like we got free wedding planners on top of an amazing venue. Both leading up to the wedding, and on the day of, there was so much support, organization, and just an overwhelming kindness from the entire team. The bar and food were also such a highlight - everything was delicious (thank you for having a mac and cheese bar...this was a dream I didn't even know I had until I saw it as an option). The entire staff who helped out that night was incredible - each and everyone of them brought so much energy and positivity (shout out to anyone who worked the evening of July 30th - you're all amazing). I think we heard from every single guest after the fact about how much they adored the venue and everyone who worked there. So all I can say is - 100000% the best venue and people out there to work with. Thank you Kayla and Dana and the whole team for making it such a wonderful, stress-free, and fun day - we will remember it forever! (Picture credit to the also AMAZING @fayekolkman)”

“The patrons and staff here are one big family. I just love coming here on sundays to watch some football. They have a large private parking lot with tons of spots. Gay bingo, towel bingo, fish fry Fridays, and meat raffles are just some of the activities offered at this amvets post. Super cheap drinks: $2 domestic drafts/ $4 craft drafts/ $3 bottled beer or 3 for $7/ $4 wine/ $4 top shelf liquor/ $3 well liquor. Stop in to this awesome spot sometime and say "hi" to some of my favorite people: Brian, Jermaine, Steve, and Ryan!”

“Really cool place to hold a party, bachelor party or large gathering. There is a lot to do here horse shoes, bocce ball, wallie ball net, basketball court and lot's more. Only complaint is it gets HOT in there.”

“Tonawanda Castle catered our wedding in October of this year, and we're so glad we went with them! Their food was absolutely delicious, everyone enjoyed it! Any of the staff we spoke with were very kind and at the tasting the chefs came to talk to us personally about what we wanted on the menu which was really nice aspect! They are also pretty flexible with their menu, and were able to accommodate any changes we had to the bar or food menu. They did tack on a decent chunk of money since our event was smaller than expected, but at the end of the day it was still less than what our original bill was going to be and 2020 has been a really tough year so I understand they need to stay afloat. We were just happy to help out a local Buffalo business. The staff is trying their best! Overall, we had a great experience with them!”

“Honeymoon Suite concert on 9/30.Advise you to arrive early to get better parking (since no onsite lots are available).PITT system was great. Sound was a little muddled though. Not sure how it was in the back.Overall a good experience, BUT be forewarned, the Men's restroom is downstairs AND it has NO TOILET (only 3 urinals). Not sure how they pull that off?”

“Great state park with a beachfront. Solé is the full bar, eatery, general store and rental spaces located inside the park. Summer is the time to go, listen to free live music, shop small vendors, grab ice cream and a lemonade from local businesses in the General store and play some volleyball on the beach. I’ve attendes several weddings here from inside the lodge or right on the beach. From April to October, weddings are held on the beach. This park and restaurant has certainly become a hidden gem of Buffalo!Favorite parts: Tuesdays is WYRK country night with line dancing and a great crowd. There’s cornhole, a cornhole league, beach volleyball leagues along with other sand bar games. Combined with their specialty cocktails ‘Lardon Lemonade’ you feel like you’re on vacation, toes in the sand and bar chairs located right in the sand.Beach bar is perfect if you want to be right next to the water. Full bar and frozen drinks available.Staff was fun, knows how to pour a good drink and always friendly.Parking is free from September- June. Parking deals through NYS Parks- see their website for details.Restrooms: There are restrooms ran by the parks and open during summer- mid October. Porta potties open as well. No bathrooms in the grove.Dog-friendliness: Solé allows dogs in the SandBar and Grove, NYS parks do not allow dogs right on the beach.Picnic area: Located in the Grove with picnic tables and grills available.”

“We attended a wedding here and it was very good. It's an amazing space. The food was good, but the service was slow. For a 5pm wedding, the last tables were being served at 7:50pm. At that point some of the entrees had been sitting for a bit. Though at 24 tables, it was a very large service.”

“This place is beautiful located next to the lake, their menu is pricey meaning there is less risk of seating next to screaming children's or someone in the mood of nonsense. So far every time I visit the atmosphere is pleasant.Menu is good with a nice variety, worth the price specially when the kitchen must not be that big (judging by the building).Love being able to make my reservations online, and I like how they keep me posted of future events.Staff is OK, not over friendly, not rude, could be more knowledgeable on the rules and etiquette of serving a table specially with the prices we are paying. But at the same time this place has live music so ppl tend to take longer at a table, limiting the covers of a server and this has strong influence on the service you will receive.Overall when I have friends in town I make sure to make The Terace the first place I take them for a nice meal, it has all is needed for a first good impression of Buffalo.”

“Clean, quiet restaurant with good service. Menu is a bit limited in choices for dinner main entrees and nothing extra is offered. The better fine dining restaurants offer bread or fresh rolls which is always a nice treat. They did not stock any non alcoholic beer beverages which was disappointing. Ruth was our server, she was quiet, pleasant and efficient and we enjoyed having her as our server. All in all a decent meal with a pleasant atmosphere. We would come again, however, our first experience did not leave an outstanding first impression.”
