“Seats were nice in the balcony, I don't think there is a bad seat in the house. Sound was a bit off in the beginning but they adjusted the mics for the singers and it got better”

“As a wedding vendor in the industry over 14 years, I have to say that The Avanti Mansion is truly my gold star venue!! From their incredible staff to their culinary creations, in addition to the beautiful space inside and out, it's a 10/10. I am beyond excited when I learn that one of my couples has chosen this location. ❤️”

“My husband and I brought our nieces (8, 8, and 12) in at 5:00 on a Saturday, before taking them to Shea’s. The hostess quoted 45-60 minute wait and it ended up only being 15 minutes so we were very grateful. I also love that we were contacted via text when our table was ready so we were able to take the girls back to the car for what we had assumed would be a 45 minute wait. The service was great—Mike was so good to our littles, talking directly to them and being patient, kind, and attentive. Food was great and came out super quickly. Including 2 apps, a beer, and 5 meals we were out for under $130 including a 25% tip. We were blown away with the price, especially given how expensive life has gotten. Happy to share this experience with our friends in real life and on the internet. Thanks, Big Ditch!”

“Had a fabulous time Ice skating @ Canalside. Rentals were $5 per person. Admission is $8. Lockers $1.Pros: beautiful landscape.Friendly people willing to give out free lessons.Cons: they were out of many sizes of skates due to the demand of people coming in. Skates were hit or miss. Some were good condition, some were completely mangled.Long waits for rentals (so bring your own!!)Parking is sparse unless you are okay with paying ($5-$20).Overall, I would come again. Probably not on the weekend since parking is tricky & the crowding on the ice makes it hard to find your rhythm.”

“This was the first time I attended a concert at Babeville in Asbury Hall. It was a General Admission event with VIP seating for just the first seven rows of floor chairs. The venue was very historic looking, with lots of wood. The balcony is very cool. They don't serve food, but serve beverages at an upstairs bar. They also have a smaller bar in the basement. The stone work is also really cool down there. The men's bathrooms seemed to have enough capacity to reasonably handle the rush at Intermission. The sound in the room was not bad, but it was a bit muddy sounding. There were warm and cold sound spots scattered through the room. There isn't really onsite parking at the location, so you have to look elsewhere. There are a variety of bars and restaurants within a few blocks, so plenty of before & after gathering places.”

“Would have given a 5. My friend I dined with is vegan. Our server was great and recommended the gnocchi dish with mushrooms and broccoli, because it was vegan and flavorful, so my friend went with that. Unfortunately, It came out with cheese on it which was disappointing. So that's why I'm giving a 4. So I waited to eat until a replacement dish came out for her. Other than that, cocktails, service and ambiance were great! I enjoyed one of the specials for the evening - squash ravioli with a side of flat 12 mushrooms. I ate every bite. Also really enjoyed the chocolate black out cake, with thick, creamy whipped cream on top and a scoop of chocolate ice cream. Went for dinner on a Friday at 6 and made a reservation. Very nice experience, not too loud. I've been a few times over the years and will definitely keep coming back.”

“Great vibes here, and the place continues to get better every year. Be sure to look up the historical connections to Frank Lloyd Wright and the hydroelectric capabilities this area provided when visiting the top quality venues nearby.”

“Witching Hour MarketRhiannon Needham & Alisha LezamaIt was an absolute pleasure working with Lisa and the team at The Show @ Shea’s Seneca. The Show is primarily booked for weddings, galas, and fundraiser events of the same nature. We were so grateful that Lisa was willing to take a chance and book us as an alternative to her usual events. The venue is beautiful in its natural architecture, but also very clean & welcoming to our guests/vendors.The staff was gracious and happy to serve our clients & answer questions. Our guests had raving reviews about the bartenders, their service, & their drinks!Lisa went the extra mile for us & even customized the marquee for our event. We highly recommend booking with The Show for your special day & private events! It is a stunning backdrop for any memorable occasion.”

“This Edwardian building has some fabulous architecture, and now houses the Ukrainian Cultural Center. We stopped in for some food (the proceeds going to the Ukrainian support the Ukrainian people during the war), and got to see the bar area with it's vaulted ceilings. The bar is staffed entirely by volunteers, and has a neat selection of Ukrainian beers. The food was also made by volunteers, and we needed a translator to order! Everything was great, and the people were all welcoming. While the area isn't the greatest, they do have a parking lot on the east side of the building which can get packed, but offers fenced off-street parking.”

“Honeymoon Suite concert on 9/30.Advise you to arrive early to get better parking (since no onsite lots are available).PITT system was great. Sound was a little muddled though. Not sure how it was in the back.Overall a good experience, BUT be forewarned, the Men's restroom is downstairs AND it has NO TOILET (only 3 urinals). Not sure how they pull that off?”

“Had to stand outside a very long time to enter the building to play bingo. But when we finally got in, we had a very fun time with the family. There’s a small snack bar. I think the pizza was from Mr Pizza, popcorn was very good just like the movies and they also had alcohol for over 21yrs and pop and water for everyone else.Parking was a little hard.”

“We attended a wedding here and it was very good. It's an amazing space. The food was good, but the service was slow. For a 5pm wedding, the last tables were being served at 7:50pm. At that point some of the entrees had been sitting for a bit. Though at 24 tables, it was a very large service.”

“While stranded in Buffalo due to severe weather conditions, the hotel staff played a crucial role in easing our difficult situation caused by consecutive flight cancellations. They extended a generous offer, allowing us to prolong our stay at a remarkably reasonable nightly rate, well below the standard charge. The rooms were not only exceptionally spacious but also boasted modern amenities, enhancing our overall comfort during this unexpected and challenging period of uncertain and harsh weather.Throughout our extended stay in Buffalo, the hotel staff went above and beyond to assist us. They consistently provided valuable updates on travel bans, ensuring we were well-informed amid the challenging circumstances. Beyond that, they went the extra mile to arrange for our meals and ensure our comfort, making a significant difference during a period of uncertainty and travel disruptions.”

“Room was super spacious, front desk staff were wonderful and location was great. There was even a bowling alley and (popular) bar in the hotel. One unfortunate fact: the fish restaurant located at the ground floor of the building (separate from the hotel itself). The “fish market” stench engulfed the entire lobby and even seeped into the upstairs hallways through the elevator shaft.”

“I am so impressed with this venue. It's massive! It didn't get overwhelmingly hot like some smaller venues (granted, I was not in the pit). They have plenty of food options. Security was plenty. Would definitely return.”

“Went there on a Wednesday night. We were a party of four and had made a reservation. We were promptly seated in the main dining room and greeted by our server. We ordered drinks which were promptly served as ordered. We each opted for the full meal with salad bar. The salad bar was well kept and extensive in selection. I particularly enjoyed the roasted garlic, goat cheese and stuffed jalapeno. I tried at least ten different meats , my favorite was a leg of lamb with mint jelly. Service throughout the evening was friendly and courteous.I enjoyed the meal more than the finest LV buffet. Will certainly return , highly recommended.”
