“Our group entered Canada in Fort Frances, Ont. Friday evening and found that we had a tire going flat with + 150 miles to travel and with only a "donut" spare and no service stations open.
We were directed to Lakewood Tires, the only service center open on Saturday and only to 1 pm.
We contacted the Lakewood folks who told us to come over and they would "fit us in".
We were treated like family-far better than we had a right to expect, everyone was helpful from the owners to the mechanic and when they finished, we were given a deal for the service that was far less than expected especially as out-of-towners totally dependant on Lakewood's good will and fair pricing.
Our group will not forget the class act operation we found in Lakewood Tire and recommend them whole heartedly to anyone in the Ft. Frances area!!”
