I come up here a couple of times every summer by bicycle (100km round trip). Great place to stop for a spicy sausage or a milkshake, and buy bottled water and Gatorade for the return trip. Nice outdoor seating area with picnic tables and umbrellas for shade. The ice cream was Kawartha Dairy, which is excellent. Never had a bad experience with the owners. Seems to be a popular stop for cyclists and motorcycle riders.

Came twice for now.
Convenience location.
For The first time, had ice cream. Very good. Especially after a meal.
The owner is smart.
They open longer on specific day.

Worst experience!! Man is incredibly rude gave me the wrong ice cream tried to correct him started to give me attitude and told me to get out of his store. Because he gave me the wrong ice cream? Never touched it but can't give me what I ordered? The bloody nerve he obviously needs my money more than me. Locals outside said this is the worst business owner in all of Sutton!!! Never again!

Review of this store and it’s owner by an experienced guide and local. Generations of my family have been tracking and swimming at Simcoe. If Georgina wants to grow and avoid evaporating into irrelevance (economics) it needs to become a welcoming place. Only cash payments accepted here, highly inconvenient for a convenience store. I’ve been coming to this store for years. Owners have gotten increasingly unfriendly and the public now views it. They seem to think they hold the keys to the lakefront. Charging downtown prices for mediocre food/dessert. No effort in customer service. No respect for new visitors (other reviews tell the story). This store would never compete in a larger community and that does not help Georgina prosper. Locals need to stop supporting a place that violates our values. Unfortunately we’re not returning. I’ve watched the owner’s mental state and behaviour deteriorate. It’s maybe time to pack it up and retire.

Great selection of items and location. They’re getting a 2 because who on earth is cash ONLY? I was cycling so only had my phone so I couldn’t even use the atm. Such a silly practice.

Store was very clean! It offered both ice cream and fresh frozen yogurt (the frozen yogurt was excellent). We also enjoyed a sausage that the owner BBQ'd which was fantastic!

I came to this store to grab a hot dog for lunch with my buddy Kevin A.K.A "The Glizzy Goblin"
My buddy Kevin can drive 17 hotdogs into his Barrel in one sitting! That being said he said that this place is selling the best Glizzy's in the area!
If you happen to get the opportunity to stop by, I would also highly recommend trying Chicken dogs, they are just as greasy as they sound, but it will not only hit the spot, but it will slap your spot silly!

Horribly rude and disrespectful owner, he denied me and my service dog in the store because apparently “service dogs are only for blind people and I didn’t look blind” absolutely disgusting . The ice cream tubes look dirty and passed the date

Terribly rude owner. I came up to the ice cream counter, ordered, was given my ice cream and then went to the cash to pay where there’s a tiny sign (on the counter about waste level) about the size of my phone that says cash only. I haven’t carried cash in years and have never had an issue. I told the owner I'm so sorry but I don’t have cash, I only have Apple Pay. The owner yelled at me about how phones are to talk to friends not anything else and he snatched the ice cream out of my hands. Afterwards I looked around to see if there was any signage about this near the ice creams or outside or on the door and nope nothing. Who even pays with cash anymore? Many places I go to don’t even accept it. Either way, the owner was a total jerk about it, I will not be returning. Also, it’s extremely expensive for mediocre ice cream.
