2 times now the milk I've gotten here has been sour on day of purchase. Please fix your fridges or whatever is causing the Dairy products to spoil before even leaving the store.
Be sure to check your milk bags before purchase if you dare to risk it. ??

Heavy, old and rusted out shopping carts!Why can’t they order some new plastic lighter carts?
NEW UPDATE: May 2022:
Even though the debit/credit machines are old their staff here are so friendly. Some I have known for many decades.
BRAND new debit/credit machines in self check-out do not accept my card lol. First it didn’t like my tap, then insert card to complete payment and it said it’s a bad card lmao 2 times as it didn’t like my card to tap or insert. 3rd time it finally worked. Why would they buy cheap old machines that we have to press all the buttons in this pandemic ?

Store now has self-check-out with 6 stalls and new counter for help.
Good store with friendly staff and a wide selection of foods.

Very bad service on the bakery section.
We wait for 20 min for some one serve us but all staff were in brake.
The store bakery manager was neglected my comment and moke of me when I mentioned to her.

The staff at this Metro location more often than not are grumpy and rude. The produce is half rotten when purchasing, especially the tomatoes, bananas and onions. Onions are the worst offenders, left on the shelf with the peel broken causing them to rot quicker. The 30% off veggie trays/prepared veggies should be marked a day earlier at minimum since they’re slimy mush at time of purchase.
With the new renovations they blame everything on the “Reno”… price not scanning at self check out? It’s the reno. Staff giving you higher price because they don’t check the shelf price? It’s the reno. Staff ignoring multiple pages? It’s the reno. Staff not following the “scanning code of practice”? It’s the reno.
When this continues to happen after the renovations are complete I will not be surprised since it was like that pre-renovation.
I would avoid this location and head to Food Basics or Roblaws.

To be honest the meat department at this location is questionable.... I've bought meat there often that is miss labeled. I find it rotten before the expiry date.....on multiple occasions so be careful.
