About Ottawa Food Bank — Warehouse
They are absolutely amazing. The volunteers are friendly and the office staff are there to answer questions. Lots of donations are sorted by a busy work group in the afternoon. People can donate out of date food items or open packets of food, and they can also donate virtually by PayPal fund and also fundraising. Help is available for food for newcomers in Ottawa and the Gloucester mikinak area. They also answer even questions and please help well.

Recently, the Ottawa Food Bank had one of their staff members phone us at home. It was not to ask us for a donation. It was to *thank us* for donation. I should say that our donation was not particularly large, but the act of thanking us personally was so refreshingly different, and so deeply appreciated.
