Yesterday, I visited a Rexall pharmacy, where I have been a very satisfied customer for over 20 years, to fulfill a prescription. Unfortunately, for the first time, I felt disappointed with the level of service I received from the pharmacist, Navpreet.
Upon arriving, I explained to the pharmacist that I needed the prescription filled as soon as possible—a simple one-pill request. I was in significant pain, and the steroid prescribed would have alleviated the discomfort quickly. Despite being the only customer in the pharmacy at the time, I was told it would take more than 20 minutes to fulfill the request.
When I politely mentioned that counting a single pill shouldn’t take long, the pharmacist curtly responded that other prescriptions needed to be completed first. While I understood the importance of other patients' needs, the lack of empathy and customer care in my situation was disheartening. I sat down to wait, strategically watching her in the hopes that she might notice my suffering. After just five minutes, she suddenly announced that my prescription was ready, handing it to me with no sense of urgency or empathy.
This interaction felt dismissive and did not reflect Rexall’s promise to be “dedicated to caring for Canadians’ health, one person at a time.” A little compassion and clearer communication could have made all the difference.
I hope someone at Rexall will review this pharmacist’s approach to customer care and welfare. Please note, this review is in no way reflective of my many positive experiences at this location over the past 20 years, but solely of this particular encounter with this individual.

Today, I went to Rexall at Gloucester mall to look for knee high for PLUS people they are pushed back to the 3rd row.
Please bring the PLUS knee highs forward to the (middle) 2nd row to make it easier to find.

Got to be one of the worst rexall for customer service. Just a bunch of rude workers who look like they don't want to be there. No hi, no interaction, looks bothered to process my transaction. happened tonight at 630pm.

Schenneth and the pharmacy team are so attentive, friendly, efficient. Always such great service. There are cheaper places to go but great service for health care is well worth the small premium.

I had a really unfortunate encounter with a racist cashier at this particular store location. Accused my friends and I of stealing with no evidence and screamed "don't ever comeback here".
