Their produce, meat and seafood prices are fair. Fresh fish and not frozen is always available. Staff are polite and friendly. Love this place.”

“Thanks To Chantal the new cashier in training and the lady that was training her Isabel i think was her name. Bought meat there, however the meat was spoiled when I got home the same day to cook it. These ladies took responsibility, checked the meat themselves and apologized for the inconvenience and thou it's not much they offered a $1.44 coupon for the inconvenience. Just abit of customer services like that and taking responsibility goes a far way.”

“This review is long overdue. I have shopped here for years. I worked in the Glebe in 2015 and again in 2022 through 2024. This is one of the nicest grocery stores in the city. The selection is excellent for the size of store and they have some specialty products I rarely see. Kira checked me out and expertly packed my bags, as I had the pleasure of shopping today! I was able to get the Guinness for my Irish stew too! Ran into Ian, such a terrific manager, and was assisted by Don who helped me take my groceries out down a very slushy sidewalk and waited until my Uber arrived. He helped load up and saw me safely on my way home. I really can't say enough about the service way more then 5. I would give them 100 stars. Thank you!”

We had chicken breast, tuna, salmon, egg salad, chicken salad and chicken cranberry almond. Every single type of sandwich was DELICIOUS!! The fruits and vegetables were all fresh. 100% quality. Metro is now our go to for any sandwich and assorted tray needs. The food was a huge help in the success of our 60th anniversary party for my wife’s parents.
