TL;DL/The Short Version: Home improvement/hardware store. Very big. Ok selection of indoor plants in March. The Long Version: We are looking for a new sink for our laundry room, so stopped by this Home Depot to look at sinks. They had a few options which we are considering. Since I recently started getting into plants, I also took a look at their indoor plants section. It was March and the selection was not bad. The plants were in ok shape in general. No plants looked in really rough shape like I saw at the RONA down the street. However, I was looking for a Pilea Peperomioides and they had quite a few at a good price ($7.99), but none nice and healthy enough that I wanted to take home. They all had some scarred, yellowing or dead leaves. They had some cute succulents though that I would have gotten if I was in the market for them at the time. Plants at big box stores don't usually get the best care, but they are much cheaper than at speciality shops, so that's the trade-off. Plants, aside, this Home Depot location is really big and has all the usual items you need for home improvement projects. The washrooms here were exceptionally clean during my visit and I like how the exit door is a push and not a pull. I hate having to pull a handle after I have freshly washed my hands, lol. This location is a bit tucked away, you can't see it from the street. Lots of free parking. Review #89 (2025)

It's pretty bad when you walk in as a customer and you know more about a product then the person that works that department , this was in the tool and seasonal departments. Maybe focus on some more training for your employees, instead of just hiring anybody. Also I tried to pay for a space heater, code wouldn't scan, waited 15 for someone in electrical, gave up and went to Canadian Tire and bought one. I'm done with this store!

I ordered a washing machine to be delivered from this store. Incompetent management. The first date it was set to be delivered came and went without so much as a phone call. I call to rebook. Date 2 I phone to confirm the time, and the machine was delivered to the wrong location.
The pathetic losers who deliver for this horrible company all deserve to be fired. They finally showed up after weeks of mishaps only to repack the machine and take it away because the service, which I paid for, to remove the old machine was a bit tougher than usual.
UPDATE
I had GOTJUNK (great service) to remove the old machine. HD came and delivered the machine, and then REFUSED to install it! They claimed there were no waterlines, when the waterlines were In the Machine! experience ordering a major appliance from this Home Depot!
What a HORRIBLE experience ordering a major appliance from here!
Wait there's more! They finally say they can send someone to install it in 2 weeks! What a horrible company.

My wife and I recently visited the plumbing department at the Home Depot on Cyrville Road in Ottawa. We met an employee named Raj to whom we explained our predicament with a recent purchase from another Home Depot. He took the time needed to make sure our problem was resolved. We were absolutely impressed with his thoroughness and care. What excellent customer service! Raj, you made our day. Thank you. We will be back to shop and tell our friends and family about you. :-)
