Went to get a washing machine (little emergency.) Everything online says the Goderich store closes at 7...the store sign says 5:00...we are now forced to drive around with our toddler in hopes of finding a new washer because you can't post accurate hours. Not cool guys...

My wife and I bought 3 “Toreno Genuine Leather Reclining Couches”. (2X sofas and 1 love seat) We purchased them in Stratford on July 5th 2022. We purchased the couches on sale and wanted to pay cash. Neither employee were equipped or trained to deal with such a cash purchase that they had to call in a manager early to come and handle our transaction. The manager talked us in to the extended warranty for the couches so essentially they will cover rips, tears, peeling, accidental stains etc. We don’t typically buy this sort of thing but thankful we did. Our couches were delivered by the Goderich Brick as they were closer to where we lived at the time. Goderich brick delivery team was efficient at getting the couches in our house but where incompetent on putting them together, out of the 16 clips for the backs to slide into only about 8-10 were in the proper spots if we hadn’t noticed it would have caused damaged when reclining. We then moved to the Chatham area and it’s been roughly 6 months since we have had the couches and we noticed that some of the stitching had come loose and that the “genuine leather” was actually peeling. So we contacted the Stratford Brick to use our extended warranty on the peeling and stitching issues that started to occur on 1 of the sofas and the love seat. They dismissed us and told us we would have to deal with the Chatham Brick since they are the closest store. We reached out with little response, they wanted pictures and dates and for us fill out the warranty application. We provided everything that was asked for in a timely manner. We then had little to no response from the Chatham brick that we had to get an “online warranty specialist” involved. We eventually got a response after numerous calls and emails to manager at Chatham Brick, he sent our claim out to Trans Global (The bricks warranty people). We waited roughly 5-8 weeks without hearing anything from the warranty company. We started emailing the Chatham Brick again as we haven’t heard anything and the couches were only getting worse. The manager we spoke to determined the couches would be unfixable as they do not come apart so they can’t replace the parts that were peeling. They offered to replace them or exchange for a new set paying the difference if any, by this time we were going to be moving to the London area. So we had the new couches scheduled to be delivered to the new house, the London delivery team was efficient bringing in the new couches and taking the old ones away. Unfortunately we have had the “new couches” for approx 7 months and they have just started peeling in similar spots on the sofa and love-seat. And we have already used the warranty on 2 of the couches. We have warranty for one of the sofas still available. We also kept up with proper cleaning and conditioning of the couches.Stratford Brick- Employees need training for cash purchases and warranty claims. Poor quality of couches.Goderich Brick- Delivery team needs to double check their work when assembling. Poor quality of couches( We also purchased a living room table online and picked up from Goderich we got home and it was damaged ) we were offered a replacement or partial refund online for the damaged table, the Goderich employee was less the thrilled to be issuing the partial refund.Chatham Brick- Poor communication for warranty claimsLondon Brick- Poor quality of couchesMoral of the story is we purchased the couches in July 2022 we had the couches for roughly 6 months before peeling started filed for the warranty in January 2023 to get them fixed we received new couches in June 2023 after long back and forth battle. Now 6 months later new couches started to peel. Very difficult to use warranty poor communication in hopes you will give up.This review has been left for Stratford, Goderich, Chatham and London Bricks as all 4 locations dealt with us in someway or another for these couches. This is solely our experience but would definitely recommend going elsewhere.
