Just visited and had a weird encounter. Ontario has not instituted a bottle deposit system for soft drinks. The system was automatically charging 10 cents per bottle. I caught it as I thought the total seemed off. The employee said he had asked the owner about this but did not fully explain why I was going to be charged deposit in a province without a deposit system. I declined to make the purchase and took a photo of the screen which was displaying this.

One of the best service stations in the area it's always clean ,and the washrooms are tidy and clean the staff are pleasant and willing to assist with directions My wife passed on Aug,04,2024 I stopped for gas the week after, I fell apart when I was at the station, I told the attendant what happened he listened to me and helped calm me down and said prayers and condolences for her thank you mister attendant.

Terrible customer service. Had a problem with the pump. Pump kept shutting off. Went to cashier to get some help and get it fixed. The employee's way of fixing it includes spraying fuel I have paid for all over my brand new truck and ground. Pump still did not work and a huge mess to clean up. His idea to clean it up was to try and use brown paper towel which would scratch my brand new truck. Not impressed and will not use this location again.

I had the worst experience. They said I had to calculate it outside, so I did it on a machine and kept waiting because it was a process. I waited outside for about 5 minutes for the process to start. When a customer came out, he said the machine here wasn't working so I went inside to check the receipt. So, I told them that if the machine doesn't work, you should put up a sign like other gas stations, but the guy who works there now, Steve, insulted me and called me an idiot for asking such stupid questions. So,i said you need to know that so people don't wait. Look at other people. They keep coming. Anyway he call me by stupid and saying he wasn't God. So he can not put sign. He said how i know this is not working? Lol he should do somthing just like other gas station. Put sign or do somthing..Anyway is Esso didnt train anything???Not even 1 star. After im using my points i will move other..no more esso

i regularly pump my gas here but NEVER again... i had a bad case of diarrhea tonight and the employee ignorantly mentioned the bathroom is not working and walked away, very very disappointed. will never be visiting this gas station again, staff is rude and the store is very inconvenient!!!! he even mentioned the bathroom has been broken for the last week, WHY HAS IT BEEN A FULL WEEK??? how many customers come in here on a daily basis to use the pump and use the bathroom? owner and staff should really get their priorities straight.
