Pinery Provincial Park is a stunning destination that captivates visitors throughout the year, particularly during the summer when it gets busy. The park features beautiful beaches along Lake Huron, offering a great place to swim and relax, although sand fleas can be a nuisance on the beach. The well-maintained facilities include clean bathrooms and indoor drinking water taps, making it a comfortable choice for camping. The park offers a diverse range of campsites, especially in the regular season, but winter camping provides a unique experience with snow-covered landscapes and tranquility. However, winter campers should note that only one section is open, which can feel crowded. Visitors appreciate the quick snow clearance on roads and the friendly staff. Nature enthusiasts will enjoy the trails and the chance to see various birds, while dog owners find the park welcoming, though some pet owners may need to manage their dogs better to maintain a peaceful environment. Overall, Pinery Provincial Park is regarded as a top-tier provincial park, perfect for outdoor activities and memorable getaways. Visitors consistently look forward to returning to this beautiful slice of nature.
If you’re in the area don’t miss this park. Great all year round, but, gets very busy in the summer. Beautiful beach.

Top tier provincial park. Most of the sites and roads are sand rather than dirt. Only trade-off is while the sand helps keep bugs away it gets everywhere. I hate sand.

Winter camping in December was perfect - snow, peace and tranquility. Lots of birds to see, trails are in good shape too. Roads are cleared quickly if snowfall, and comfort station has hot showers👍. The park staff are very friendly and accommodating.
