Variety Stores in Gravenhurst, ON

“The owners are always so kind and helpful, but today want beyond any expectation and made my day. I was needing onions for a recipe but being Easter Sunday could not find a store that was open and sold vegetables. When I went to ask at Anne's Variety and Gift store, she want upstairs to her home and brought down about 8 onions (although I'd told her we only needed 2). When I said we'd replace them tomorrow she totally refused and said it was a gift. Although we sometimes shop at Anne's Variety (as we can always find newspapers there when other stores have run out) I don't believe she recognized us. She is just an exceptionally kind human being.”

“Super kind service ?
Did have some rude, entitled customer that came in complaining it was slippery in an ice storm in their driveway and being so mean(they had obviously salted but what can you do from there..?).they were the only one with power on the street at the time sooooo....they were obviously super busy and it's an ice storm..maybe the person should have bought their smokes in bulk when we all knew it was coming instead of being rude to the owners ?

And they didn't get rude back so they showed class not the other customer”
