They are not even competing anymore with the rest of the gas stations in the city. It’s not even worth driving here to try and save any money because their gas is the same price as everywhere else. They were 155 today and other places are at 154 so not sure what the benefit of Costco gas is anymore.

Doesn’t worth to drive to save 5 cents.
Before there was a 10 cents difference costco and private stations.

After 10 years of membership, I decided not to renew. I did enjoy the competitive gas prices when the gas station first opened, but I can get same and LOWER gas price at Shell with my CAA membership and collect AIRMILES at the same time (and clean my windshield). The first time I returned to Shell, I gassed up at 1.49/L with my CAA discount and Costco gas was at 1.51/L according to GasBuddy; a difference of 2 cents. I check GasBuddy every time and its the same price or better once the discount is applied. Costco has served its purpose in levelling the competition but consumers should not assume that all prices are better at Costco. I've done my research on a number of items and I now shop where I please without the crowds and the line-up just to exit the store. Some practices are simply ridiculous!

I guess up at Costco quite often around 250 every month. When you first started you were $0.05 better than anybody else around, but what happened is that the valley prices went up and your prices lately. Oh, only about $0.02 below anybody else. Sometimes there's other people lower than you. So what is the difference between Southern Ontario and Northern Ontario? Could you please tell us?

Knocked the competition down to fair prices - but it is too late for them. Another value-added benefit to my membership price and my go to spot for gasoline. The military-like gas lane enforcers are a bit odd at first, until you realize how many people in Sudbury have difficulty with a one-way, dual side gas station (yes the pumps reach to left or right of your car - no need to wait to get the "right" pump. Get simple gas station !

The best place to get a dozen roses in town! Our favourite place to shop for almost everything organic except certain things are in too much quantities so you end up wasting food. Costco needs to reduce more packaging with their own Kirkland brand and more environment measures needed in its own warehouse. Eco packaging needed everywhere. They also need more vegan and organic foods. The cafeteria has nothing healthy at all! Bring back the cafe latte! Get healthy salad as a choice or do Beyond burgers!
