I ordered some custom sized foams for a trailer modification and was pleasantly surprised. The foam came more like a mattress with very well sewn seams all at very affordable price and within a few days! Couldn’t be happier! We will be purchasing all our mattresses from this store from here forward! Highly recommend.

When you get tired of the B.S. you hear in other stores and read online, visit Herb and buy one of his mattress systems. His product is excellent and his prices are fair. While you’re there, buy one of his mattress covers too. They are better than the others also.

North Star bedding excels in customer service and produced the best quality mattress I have ever purchased. When shopping for a new mattress I couldn’t find any other stores that still makes mattresses that flip. This was a prerequisite because the last mattress I invested in was supposed to be top of the line and it had sags in it after a year. After speaking with the owner Herb, it was clear his knowledge was extensive and he stood by his craft. I am happy to support a local business that has made their product on site for over 20 years.

If I could give 10 stars I would! One of the best customer service experiences of my life. I was daunted at the idea of purchasing a new mattress. I live in Toronto and thought it would be relatively easy to find something with all of the selection. Much to my chagrine, after visiting many “sleep specialty” stores, I was left more confused and unsure of what was best. My father, who still resides in Sudbury, recommended Herb at North Star bedding as he purchased his beds from him over the years and swore by them.
I contacted Herb and he was incredibly kind and patient with me. He answered all of my questions clearly and never left me feeling like I was wasting his time or asking stupid questions. He custom made a mattress based for both myself and partner’s need (back sleeper/side sleeper). He designed the mattress so I could flip it, thereby extending the life of my purchase. Then he DELIVERED THE MATTRESS TO TORONTO!!!
I highly recommend North Star bedding if you are in the market for a good nights sleep that will not have you lose sleep while purchasing it.
