Worst bank and worst staff to deal with. Opened account in May for their promotional watch offer. Advisor Ash told us that we are eligible for this offer. Waited 3 months after complying to qualify for all thier said criterias to avail watch. After 3 months followed up with service centre and the branch, they told us we do meet the criteria and would send us an email shortly. Everyfollow up would have the same answer. After 6 month , baking making money and charging us the feee tell us its only for permanent residents. Its very unethical for a bank to rob peoples hard earned money by having unqualified staff misguiding people. pls be careful dont fall onto their false advertisement traps.

This five-star goes to Sanaj from RBC. I haven’t had the best experiences with RBC, but my appointment yesterday with Sanaj was very pleasant and informative. I showed up early for my appointment and he met with me before my scheduled appointment time. He is kind and helpful. Thank you Sanaj.

Really not a fun experience banking with them , put my paycheck in and the held it , after a phone call I was told there was nothing they could do for me unless I went into the bank , I went into the bank and was told the money was going to be not held anymore and it wasn’t a big deal but when I went to go use my Monet was still on hold and when I called today they said yes they see on my file it says don’t hold checks from his employer but told too bad anyway so if you want access to your own money you probably shouldn’t bank with them , good news tho I was told to go into the bank or call back tomorrow so good luck for day 3 on getting my own paycheck .

It’s not that much of a problem with the bank as much as it’s with one of their advisors named Diane. She was super rude, unhelpful and straight out refused to help or answer any questions about a friend’s credit card issue. When she refused to help us, another advisor named Tas took us in and spoke to us and actually ended up helping us. If she was able to help, why did Diane say she cannot help and there’s nothing she can do? Even if there was nothing she could do, what would have happened to her if she was just kind and compassionate in the time of need? While Tas was helping us, Diane was aggressively walking around, giving us stares and finally came back to argue with us, she had no right to speak that way to us after choosing to walk away. She also made racist comments under her breath while she was walking around aggressively and that is just not acceptable. As a customer of the bank, that is not the kind of experience anyone signs up for and it wouldn’t take the life out of someone to be a basic decent human. Kudos to Tas for being a sport and handling the situation so well. But overall, I am disappointed with the bank’s service and most of their employees.

Abysmal service had an appointment but no one at the front desk and when I finally hailed someone they said if I wanted my appointment I had to go wait in line and talk to a teller. I mean that is why I booked an appointment shouldn't have even bothered booking. This is the worst service ever I've been a customer here for 30 years. They should take a lesson from the TD they book appointments, they message you an hour ahead of the appointment, they come to greet you in the waiting area and walk you into the appointment room and thank you for coming. You will not get that at the RBC on LaSalle

Never had any problem with RBC bank in other branches. Visited this branch 30 minutes before closing time and the teller asked me to come tomorrow because they were about to close even when 30 minutes were remaining. Expected more professional service from a branch in prime location.

I deposited my son's piggy bank money that were in rolls of 1$ & 2$, I also had quarters, nickles and dimes that me and the male banker rolled up on the spot. I just checked today that only 45.20 was deposited. I should have nearly 300,-330$$. I was driven over to this Sudbury location by a friend while shopping in the city. And i tried calling and get service over the phone not by this location but some call service branch. Told to go back to this branch and dispute it. I dont have the luxury to drive there. Like how can that mistake be made and not have my loonies and toonies dismissed like that. Photo: There in the bag behind the bills filled with more loonies and toonies.

Although the staff is generally kind (with the exception of a few), the wait times are deplorable. The business line is closed sporadically throughout the day (for long periods) and there are never enough regular tellers to compensate. There is also a very high turn over for employees so it feels very impersonal.
